A medium-bodied pale ale with a beautiful copper color, a robust head, and the rich flavor of caramel malt.

Nice sweet aromas, kind of toasty. Clear copper with a decent white head. Great flavors, sweet with a nutty aftertaste.

Amber appearance with a fluffy white head and excellent lacing. Smell was almost undetectable, maybe a faint whiff of cinnamon. Taste was interesting and complex, starting off with sour orange and a bit of apricot, then with malt, and finishing with orange peel and cinnamon. Mouthfeel was very good for an amber ale. Nice session beer.

Thanks Brad. This was poured into a pint glass. The appearance was a hazy burnt red to slight orange tints along the sides of the glass. There’s a one finger white foamy head that dissipated within about a minute leaving some light speckled lacing here and there. The smell had a good balance of caramel sweet malts to light citrus sweet and bitter hops. The taste was mainly sweet but still had a slight bitter element trying to come through. On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a fairly decent sessionability about it. The carbonation was good for the style and for me as it was slightly harsh but nothing overbearing. Overall, I say this was a pretty good Amber ale I would have again.

650 ml bottle from Premier Wine and Spirits. Pours a somewhat hazy deep amber colour with frothy cream-coloured head. Aroma is biscuity, fruity and caramelly with some earthy character. Flavour has a bit of pronounced, sweetish caramel and fruit with some biscuit and a nice earthiness. Mouthfeel is on the creamy side. Quite a nice amber ale.

Poured from can. Aroma of malt, ocean, butter, caramel. Good lookin solid dark amber with frothy head. I taste burnt caramel, vanilla, some pine/citrus hops, and earthy notes. Earth notes. Buttery feel. Not bad.

Unclear deep nutty color with a fine white head. Ok lacing. Bready, mild fruity and caramel malty aroma. Medium body. Tad sweet and a moderate bitterness. Unusual rich berry fruity flavor. Bready and caramel malty. Decent ale, a bit to sweet.

355ml bottle bought at foodGARDEN in D2 Place, Lai Chi Kok.

Cloudy hazy amber brown colour with slight trace of yeast sediments; Half finger head and off-white foam which fades in 20 seconds; Very good sticky lacing and near zero carbonation; Fragrant aroma of amber malt, With strong caramel, light toffee, light grapefruit, light dark fruits, molasses, strong yeast, biscuits, very light spices and light grass; Light sweet taste of strong amber malt, with strong caramel, toffee, toast, strong biscuits, molasses notes, light earth, light spices, light lemon, very light bitter hops and thin grass; Mid to light body. Slick palate; Taste profile is very malty with very strong caramel taste. Hops’ fruity taste is kinda hidden in the background, but the earthy and spicy taste is quite apparent. Good light toast and toffee, subtle sweetness. Lots of tea biscuits. Nice!… Hoppiness is low grapefruit, dark fruit and light spice in nose. Light lemon, earth and spice in taste. Very low bitterness for a mostly malty-light astringent finish; Quite dry after taste. Malty and low bitter to mouth.

Comments: This one boosts a very healthy malty backbone with good caramel and toasty taste. The four hops added the light fruitness in aroma and fair earth and spice to taste. Very solid, and a step up than most average Ambers, although I would like some more fruity hoppy aroma and taste. Recommended!
