Quick Look: Starts off strong and hoppy, finished with a malty flavor that is just right. A very nice Amber Ale.
In Depth: A very dark amber ale with a light, tan head when served. The aroma isn’t too strong - a hoppy waft originates with a slightly carmelized flavor in the first sip. This Amber Ale seemingly starts off too strong, but evens out and becomes easily drinkable.

lovely aroma, subtle hops and malts, some caramel or honey, a little bit fruit... taste is great, like Palm but so much more complex

Poured into a pint glass. 4.0 A: Lightly hazed orange amber color. Two fingers of dense frothy, off-white head. Retention is good and a short ring of lacing is left. 4.0 S: Doughy malt base. Moderate caramel malt component. Cinnamon-like spiciness, almost like a winter warmer. Fairly strong molasses presence with light floral hops. 4.0 T: Mostly follows the nose. Doughy with some breadiness from the yeast. More caramel than in the nose and it tastes great. Again a touch of molasses and some toastiness. Light winter spice and earthy hoppiness. 4.0 M: Medium body. Good moderate carbonation. Good creaminess in this and quite smooth. 4.5 D: Solid beer throughout. Definitely worth an occasional purchase. Serving type: can Reviewed on: 11-11-2011 23:52:08

Average brown ale. Came in a can! Pours a dark amber with a light head. Aroma is very malty. There is enough hops to give it a crisp finish and make it a fairly good drinker.

355ml bottle. Pours a dark orange with a large, frothy head. Aroma is caramel malt, a little toffee and orange hops. Taste has some toffee to start. Slight hop and boiled sweet finish. Some apple on the aftertaste.
