A medium-bodied pale ale with a beautiful copper color, a robust head, and the rich flavor of caramel malt.

Got this in cans (all the local store had) and upon opening the can there was a thick foam rising fast so my first taste was sucking down the suds before they found thier way to the floor. Suds wasn’t bad so was looking foward to actually having some of the beer. Pouted up into glass a dark amber brew with thin head that lays down to lace quickly. Aroma is malty sweet with some wood notes to it. Taste is caramel malts and some hop bitterness. Fairly well balanced but thick, like did they stop the ferment too soon. For this thick of a brew I would think it would have a higher ABV. Decent brew overall and I did drink down the whole 6 pack with no problems but plan to only purchase this agian if it is on sale.

This 22oz typifies what Anderson Valley does--for good or bad--they produce a better-than-average beer, but usually not great. For the price point, it is honestly not a bad value. Smooth, plenty of caramel, and unremarkable.

Didn’t expect anything, but pretty good indeed. Bought one bottle for 2$. Worth the price. Nice grassy, little citrus hoppy aroma and bready, caramel malty aroma. Little bit watery and light, but very balanced and drinkable.

Poured a crystal clear amber with a tint of orange. Three-finger off-white frothy head retained OK and laced well. Carbonation low and fine. Aroma very slightly of malt and no real hops. Taste of moderately rich sweet caramel with very low bitterness. Light body, a bit thin. Crisp and smooth with a very light bitterness on the finish. Ordinary.

Bottle. Not special, aroma and taste weak. Little fruit and light bitter finish. Poor beer.

Buen color tostado ambar, espuma blanca y consistente. Olor agradabel. Primer sabor suave, seguido de un amargor que va dejando paso a tintes de caramelo al final. Muy buen conjunto. Cerveza notable

Aroma a lúpulo y dulce. Color miel oscura, espuma abundante, aunque poco persistente. Sabor a caramelo, tostado, lúpulo. Leve amargor al final. Muy recomendable.

Tons of caramel flavour nicely balanced with the leafy hops. Unfortunately a little bit oxidised/flat cardboardy tasting, like many British bitters when bottled. Still getting to grips with this style- seems a bit like British bitters surprisingly.

Caramelly, initially a bit bitter but balanced later on. Would drink again, but not first choice.
