fishingnet (823), Brandon, Florida, USA Sep 7, 2008 Bottle. Pours a clear amber brown with a small light tan head. Aroma of dark fruit, caramel, and spicy yeast. Taste is the same as aroma. Medium mouthfeel with a mild amount of bitterness and smooth alcohol. Very good. spikester (413), Salem, Oregon, USA Aug 29, 2008 Fruity, raisens, figs, some cocoa, brown sugar, super aromatic, some soy sauce in finish. Too high abv for me but if your doctor said only one beer a day this would be a good one to consider! Tasty dubbel. VitaminR (268), Colorado, USA Jul 21, 2008 Raisiny vinous nose, some powdered chocolate notes. Deep, deep onyx red color, medium frothy head with nice lacing. Brown sugar rum raisin sweetness, slight bitter notes--very smooth. Creamy body, subtle smooth carbonation, horehound candy finish. A very nice beer, delicate and complex, alcohol is completely masked. Lowe1983 (742), Fairborn, Ohio, USA Jul 19, 2008 Pours a copper color with an off-white head.
