COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
The brewers of Anderson Valley had to conjure the High Priestess of Fermentation to help them formulate and create this rare hand-crafted elixer. It is luxuriant, smooth, more that a little wild, and at 10% alcohol, it's bound to raise your spirits. Open the Bottle and greet the High Priestess. You are worthy.

Bottle from Beers of Europe, during the Belgium-US game. Splendid bright golden colour, although no yeast present. Sweet malty character, syrupy, strong alcoholic bite. Almost a barley wine with a tiny hint of some Belgian yeast character, could do with being drier and more balanced for me.

High Priestess of Fermentation have spoken. This Tripel has an extra Belgian candy sugar caramelized flavor that is rich and Imperial. I dig it. But I have a sweet tooth. I think they did a great job at retaining the Belgian quality of the yeast although remaining unique. Rich and sweet not sickening and thin.

Bottle. Smells of spicy malt, clove, banana. Tastes very sharp and fizzy, spice and malt with a very bitter dry long finish. Pretty malty for a Tripel.

Pours clear orange, slight of white head. Aroma pilsner malt sweetness, fruity, bubblegum esters. Taste sweet malt, bubblegum, fruity, banana esters, no hop flavor. Mouthfeel aproaching thick body, mid carbonation, alcohol heat and slight astringency, finish on the sweet side. Overall not great, not enough hops for the style, too sweet of a finish, no balance sweet throughout, do not like the banana esters.

Pours a cloudy yellow color with a small white head. Aroma is belgian yeast, raisins, sugar, it hits all the belgian notes you’d expect a triple to hit. The taste was a bit of a letdown to me. Very alcoholic, it tastes like it was taken out of the fermenter too early and could use another 6 months or a year settling out. It’s a little too abrasive and has some off-tastes from the yeast. Banana, cloves, alcohol, cherries, and cough syrup. I wouldn’t rush out to get another bottle.

Aroma is spices, citrus and a hint of heat/alcohol. The flavor is spices, malts, citrus/fruit and a tangy/alcoholic finish.

22 oz. bomber poured into a big wine glass, served at 50 degrees F. Aroma of caramel malt, grape nuts cereal, bread, Swiss cheese, honey, and nuts. Golden orange color with a slight white head that is quickly gone, no lacing. Tastes kind of generic, like a very malty Belgian clone that just doesn’t quite get there. Lots of caramel, wheat, and bread, not much else. Has a slight tartness in the finish, which is nice. This is a decent triple but I wouldn’t go out of my way for it. Medium to full body, slick texture, soft carbonation, and sweet/tart finish. Very grainy, caramel, and run of the mill.

From the 650 ml. bottle. The pour is orange-copper-amber with a short-lived white head. The aroma is pleasing with its Belgian sugars, toasted malts, and low hop character. Light to medium body. The taste begins nice with plenty of toasted malt and vague spice character but there is a difficult to define medicinal after taste that kind of brings it all down.
