COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
The brewers of Anderson Valley had to conjure the High Priestess of Fermentation to help them formulate and create this rare hand-crafted elixer. It is luxuriant, smooth, more that a little wild, and at 10% alcohol, it's bound to raise your spirits. Open the Bottle and greet the High Priestess. You are worthy.

Orange golden colour, fluffy white head. Spicy aroma, malt, yeast with a good hops tone. Candy sugar, citrus and cloves. Flavour fresh malty, sweet, fruity. Pleasant bitterness, quite spicy. ABV is well balanced. Lively carbonation, spicy finish. Nice.

Yellow orange, really good head. Belgian funk aroma with the taste of dark spices and a touch of sweetness. Good - just unfortunate thew style is not in my wheelhouse. I keep drinking these and one day that’ll change.

355ml bottle. Clear orange, fine sparkling, creamy white head. Fruity and spicy aroma. Sweet, but not too sweet malt, citrus overtones. Burning alcoholic finish. Could do better with some tart yeastie notes.

Bottled 355ml. -from De Bierkoning, Amsterdam. Dark golden coloured, small white head, spices and alcohol in the nose. Sweet malty, fruity and caramel with pleasant spicy and sharp alcohol presence. Spicy and yeasty finish. Alcohol is not so hidden but well balanced. Tasty one.

Bottle to pilsner glass. Pours a orange yellow color with good head. Distinct Abbey style flavor of fruits, but not overly sweet. 10% ABV masked extremely well. Very nice.

maneliquor (1185) - Perth, AUSTRALIA - DEC 24, 2011
Bottle from Mane Liquor. Pours a fantastic, vibrant orange with a small white head. Aroma picks up lots of sweet candy sugar, cloves and a sweet, yet sharp citrus hop bitterness. Lots of sweet candy sugar in the taste with touches of citrus hop and light spice. Coriander and a hint of pepper on the finish. Abv is hidden very well. Not completely true to the style and a little sweet, but I like it

Sweet, sugary aroma with a light citrus hop sharpness at the end. Beautiful golden orange color, no head. Taste is light and crisp at first but finishes honeyed and heavy with alcohol. Hop bite at end mellows into the sweetness and then turns a slight sour note Not overly complex but quite good.

No head, draft. Amber orange color, with a light citrus hop aroma. Medium carbonation, but the taste actually reminded me of a cidar beer.

sampled draft @ Delirium Hoppy Loft: clear yellow with a white head, this tastes a lot like sweet cornflakes with melted sugar on top – in a half good / half weird way – some sweet malts, caramel & definite hops in there as well plus obviously sweet grains – hint banana, slight bitterness from the hops in the finish – sticky & odd – probably would have started hating it if I had more than a small sample – Belgian?

This is the best Anderson Valley ale I have had. This is a good Belgian style beer with sweet brown sugar tone
