3.1 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle share at Leighton’s. Thanks to Fergus. Pale orange, lightly sparkling, pretty clear, small foamy white head. Aroma is biscuits, varnish, caramel, a bit meaty. Body is medium, slightly foamy, low carbonation. Taste is boozey up front, biscuits, buttery, dry. Too much booze up-front for my liking. But alright.

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle shared in London - big thanks to Fergus. Pours totally clear gold with a slight, foamy white head. The nose has so,e fusel notes, rich bread, rotting citrus, suggestions of butterscotch. Big sweet flavor with rich doughy malts, sugar, slight yeast, alcohol, hints of butterscotch. Full bodied with fine to average carbonation. Sugary finish, a little boozy, with lots of doughy wheat bread. So so.

35,5 cl. bottle @ home, bought @ Mitra Tiel.
Slightly hazy dark golden with a white head. Spicy fruity aroma. Boozy taste but in a good way. Quite different from the traditional Belgian triples but very solid an enjoyable.
