The brewers of Anderson Valley had to conjure the High Priestess of Fermentation to help them formulate and create this rare hand-crafted elixer. It is luxuriant, smooth, more that a little wild, and at 10% alcohol, it's bound to raise your spirits. Open the Bottle and greet the High Priestess. You are worthy.

Pale gold with no real head. Funky esters with tinge of pineapple. Taste is very sweet. A bit crude. Hides the alcohol with the sweetness. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle from ABC Beers, Den Haag. Poured a clear light amber with a thin broken white head. The aroma is big yeast, malt, boozy alcohol. The flavour is moderate sweet with a rich yeast resin alcoholic bitter palate and a long bitter finish. Medium bodied with soft carbonation.

A tasty little beer brewing day morning treat. Velvety smooth looking liquid gold with a thin and effervescent white head. Tasty notes or wheat, basement, honey, caramel, black pepper, bubblegum, light booze grace the nostrils. Happily, the same flavours come out, some vinousness as well. Fuller bodied than expected with a slick, almost syrupy mouthfeel and mid light carbonation. A tasty brew.

Deze Amerikaanse tripel heeft een heerlijk rijke smaak, zure ondertoon, maar ook fruitig. Amper schuim, dat is jammer. Wel zeer aan te raden.

Maistiainen Vihress Haltiattaressa 11/2014. Not as sophisticated as the best Belgian ones, still enjoyable tripel.

Well put together but nothing stand out for style. Coriander, floral yeast, some booze and a touch of citrus tang. Pours dark amber. Finishes with alight sweetness and some boozy bitterness. Bottle.

On tap @ Beer temple. 5cl sample. The aroma has red berries, butterscotch/caramel. Clear, amber coloured beer with almost no head. The taste is sweet, bit caramel/sugary, perfumed. Though there is sticky sweetness, aftertaste is still relative dry. Anyway quite a bad triple.

33cl bottle. Pours hazy golden with a low white head. Aroma is sweet with caramel, biscuits, butterscotch and some light yeast. Taste is malts, caramel, some sweet fruits, alcohol, very light yeast again. Oily texture, medium carbonation, sweet aftertaste. Good but a bit too sweet, quite far from the belgian competition.

"not quite as smooth as the dubbel, its a solid effort nonetheless. Very spicy, drier, in the nose and flavor. i like this more than most trippels. solid."

Poured from bottle. Aromas of butterscotch, clove, and citrus. Has a pale amber colour with minimal head. Light to medium sweet taste. Light to medium body, with oily texture, and a somewhat dry finish. Not bad, but certainly not great either, seems a bit too sweet.
