3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
A very old bottle I’ve had in the fridge for several years. Has a tad of funk, not sure if this is age or the yeastiness. Looks like a Rose, no head to speak of, vanilla, bubble gum, quite sweet. Alcohol is buried under the malts and wet hay funk, the spices others mention has disappeared with time, leaving only sticky sweetness.

3.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Fruity apple aromas. Pours clear and golden with a white head. Flavorful but a little too sweet for my tastes, finishes like apple cider.

Carbonation always seems too low for a triple. Has a good aroma, although it can be muted by the lack of volatilizing bubbles. Strong perception of residual sweetness on the palate.

Bottle. Clear golden with no head. Aroma of caramel, brown sugar, bread and apple juice (?). Very sweet with light apple and orange fruitness. Alcohol note is a bit unpleasant. Unbalanced, average beer. Expected something better.

Keg @The Vintage, Leith. I wrote, ’smells like a Belgium triple, tastes like a Belgium triple’, which just about sums it up. Sweet, fruity sweet maybe (well for me it was) overly sweet. This got worse as the glass went on. I’d still like to buy a bottle and age it as i believe there is a great beer in there, somewhere.

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 14/20
Keg at the vintage... Hazy amber... Thin white lacing.... Soft sweet orange fruit nose... Again too fizzy and really doesn’t suit the style... Ruch sweet toffee malt... Biy banana yeastyness... Soft rich oily peacj orange fruit linger... Bit too heavy and fizzy

Pale gold with no real head. Funky esters with tinge of pineapple. Taste is very sweet. A bit crude. Hides the alcohol with the sweetness.

Pours a medium carbed creamy head, light honey color. Aromas of banana, light cask/wood, spice, wheat/yeasty, light clove. Flavors bready, slight sherry, light caramel, light cask/wood, slight alcohol (mostly hidden), slight grass. Medium sweet, medium mouthfeel. Leaves little aftertaste, mostly clean.

4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
From bottle pours golden with light white head that fades. Taste is smooth malt that is starts floral and ends with citrus. Good mouth feel and texture throughout. No alcohol taste despite the abv. A bit more carbonated than necessary but otherwise nothing to complain about. Quite nice.
