Taste is roasted malts, splashes of smoke, burnt coffee, dark chocolate and light notes of burnt wood. Body is slightly bitter with strong carbonation, and light smokiness lingering. Toasted grain tastes with some coffee and chocolately notes. Dry woody end. Not so sweet - more smokey and bitter. Medium body. No one this stands out here, but the balance is just great. Aroma is of hops and coffee. Taste is overwhelmed by VERY HIGH carbonation. Aromas of chocolates and roasted malts. Light coffee. Cookie aromas and flavors as well. Starts out lightly sweet and ends lightly bitter. Lively body and a little on the thin side.
