On tap at Engine 15 (JAX).
Good looking clear, reddish-brown body. Dark body is topped by a decent head with excellent lacing.
Very nice aroma that precedes a relatively mild (weak) but appealing flavor.
The body seems a bit too thin.

Nice 2 finger an head ... beautiful lacing for the entire glass. brew is walnut with clear red highlites.
aroma is chocolate malts.. milk chocolate.. smells fantastic.
lower side of medium body.. adding to a already nice drinkability. Flavor is bittersweet chocolate and ample sweetness to really meld flavors.. not the most complex porter in the world.. but it holds its own

3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 13/20
Sampled on draft at Hou Thou this beer poured a black color with orange highlights and a large creamy tan head that lingered and left good lacing. The aroma was toasty with malted milk and vanilla cream. The flavor was sweetish with cola, vanilla, cocoa and malted milk. Long finish. Moderately full bodied and rather creamy. Solid.

2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
22oz bottle, for $2.50. Probably an older bottle. Kind of a metallic, oxidized aroma. Some sweet milk chocolate. Moderate sweet taste. Kind of cloying finish. Dark brown, near black color. Minimal off-white head. Good lace. Medium body. Lighter, crisp carbonation. Kind of sticky finish. Tastes like a very old porter that might have at some point been decent

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Pours a deep dark reddish brown. A bit mild for a porter with aromas of chocolate and a fruity oak.

3.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 13/20
22 oz. bomber.
A - Pours black with dark brown edges. Dense tan head forms a thick film and leaves descent lacing behind.
S - Roasted marshmallows, coffee, milk chocolate, woody, toasted nuts, molasses, dark fruit, sour dough bread.
T - Sweet roasted malt with dry cocoa underneath. The malt has more of an earthy grain to it than the aroma. Once warmed some dark fruit and sour dough emerges. Finishes dry with and earthy bite at the end.
M - Medium body starts out good but turns thin on the finish.
It packs in alot of flavor for 5.50 ABV. A nice porter with some character.
