COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Borders. We’ve crossed into uncharted territory with our newest release, El Steinber. In our somewhat unusual take on the style, we add Midnight Wheat malt to give this lager its dark brown color and roasted Indio-Hispano blue corn to lighten the body and create a unique, toasty flavor. German pilsner malt and Saaz hops round out this beer producing a crisp, clean finish and smooth drinkability that is perfect for any occasion.

Tap at Capitol Beer Fest. Pours orange brown with a decent off-white head and a light bread aroma. There is a medium-bodied smoked malt flavor with a dry slightly bitter finish.

Aromas of cocoa powder, kind of grapey, some earthy scent, like faint fennel. Clear deep brown, fully lasting beige head. Somewhat sweet initially, malts dominate, some earthy hops. Medium bodied, a little sticky.

Malty aroma with heavy concord grape. Foamy off white head and dark red almost black body. Malty grape flavor and minor cocoa and a floral presence. Smooth but q little sticky on the palate.

can @ Party Town / Florence KY --- Clear amber brown with a thin beige head cover, streaks of lace. Taste is lightly toasted malt that is joined by a little sour apple, moving to the palate without incident, showing mild, clear hops on the swallow. All parts cruise to a medium finish. Definitely unique, but it doesn’t quite work.

Poured from tallboy to glass. Dark copper brown hue with thick tan head. Aroma is cereal, malt, slight sulphur, clove. Mouthfeel is refreshing with a light body and crisp carbonation. Taste is sweet followed by a nice spicy hop bitterness. Overall this is an enjoyable fall brew.

Very impressive. Good overall aroma and dark brown look. We’ll balanced and smooth throughout. The the taste was strong and was nice with a steak dinner.

Pour is a dark brown with an average tan head. Aroma is some dark bready malt but not much after that. Flavor Is about the same. Some dark malt and an ever so slight chocolate. Overall watery and uninteresting.

On tap in genesee. Billed as a Dunkel weizen. Dark sour and refreshing. Both Wally and I liked it. Not a lot going on but hit the spot.

Pour on tap at Blind Pig, dark reddish brown with off white head, aroma brought notes of caramel, bread, grass, some hints of lemon but mainly a malt forward beer with a slight hint of a hoppy note. Taste was a mix of grass, bread, caramel, toffee, hints of grainy notes with some red fruits, hints of spice, finishing dry, slightly sweet.
