COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Borders. We’ve crossed into uncharted territory with our newest release, El Steinber. In our somewhat unusual take on the style, we add Midnight Wheat malt to give this lager its dark brown color and roasted Indio-Hispano blue corn to lighten the body and create a unique, toasty flavor. German pilsner malt and Saaz hops round out this beer producing a crisp, clean finish and smooth drinkability that is perfect for any occasion.

can @ Party Town / Florence KY --- Clear amber brown with a thin beige head cover, streaks of lace. Taste is lightly toasted malt that is joined by a little sour apple, moving to the palate without incident, showing mild, clear hops on the swallow. All parts cruise to a medium finish. Definitely unique, but it doesn’t quite work.

Poured from tallboy to glass. Dark copper brown hue with thick tan head. Aroma is cereal, malt, slight sulphur, clove. Mouthfeel is refreshing with a light body and crisp carbonation. Taste is sweet followed by a nice spicy hop bitterness. Overall this is an enjoyable fall brew.

Very impressive. Good overall aroma and dark brown look. We’ll balanced and smooth throughout. The the taste was strong and was nice with a steak dinner.

Pour is a dark brown with an average tan head. Aroma is some dark bready malt but not much after that. Flavor Is about the same. Some dark malt and an ever so slight chocolate. Overall watery and uninteresting.

On tap in genesee. Billed as a Dunkel weizen. Dark sour and refreshing. Both Wally and I liked it. Not a lot going on but hit the spot.

Pour on tap at Blind Pig, dark reddish brown with off white head, aroma brought notes of caramel, bread, grass, some hints of lemon but mainly a malt forward beer with a slight hint of a hoppy note. Taste was a mix of grass, bread, caramel, toffee, hints of grainy notes with some red fruits, hints of spice, finishing dry, slightly sweet.

Can: The aroma consists of light-moderate toasted bread, light fruit, and a touch of chocolate. It pours a dark brown with orange transparency when held to the light. It has a two finger beige head that slowly fades to a thin film that leaves behind a decent amount of webbing on the sides of the glass. The flavor starts with light-moderate fruit and light chocolate. The finish has some light toasted bread and molasses. It’s light-medium bodied with mild carbonation. Overall, this is a little sweet and isn’t working for me.

"Low level roast dominates the nose, with light bread, fruit. Looks good, big off white head. Body is avg. A bit thin as expected. Flavor pleasant...roasted malt, light fruit, dry finish. Mellow and easy drinking."

Rating #1042 - March 27, 2014 - @avbc tap takeover @revolutionYEG. Little bit of tan bubbly foam on a bodacious black brew. Lots of cool toasted malt chocolate coffee aromas. Palate is light crisp and full of flavour, but very light bodied. This is quaffable for damn sure. Beauty
