COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Borders. We’ve crossed into uncharted territory with our newest release, El Steinber. In our somewhat unusual take on the style, we add Midnight Wheat malt to give this lager its dark brown color and roasted Indio-Hispano blue corn to lighten the body and create a unique, toasty flavor. German pilsner malt and Saaz hops round out this beer producing a crisp, clean finish and smooth drinkability that is perfect for any occasion.

Pours a clear dark brown with a reddish hue and a small brown head. Aroma of chocolate, roasted malts, bread, nuts and a light bit of spicy hop aroma. Taste is rich melanoidins from the Munich malts, chocolate, toast, roast, nuttiness and a bit of astringent roast malt on the finish however this is acceptable for the style. Mouth is a nice medium body beer that’s not heavy with a moderate carbonation. Great dunkel that shows richness of the Munich malts and a light bit of nobel hops to compliment it.

can. deep bronze color with a large, fluffy, beige head. toast and peanut shells in aroma. flavor has distinct toasty nuttiness with a creamy, smooth lager yeast on the palate. medium body, low carbonation. no cardboardy oxidized notes here. this is a fresh, robust, vienna lager.

Poured a finger and half of head on a dark brown body. The aroma is grain and lemon. The taste is cream, malty sweetness and grapefruit bitter in a wonderful blend. The texture is crisp with moderate carbonation. Overall an enjoyable beer with some great flavor.

On draft at Tap 25. It pours a very dark amber color with a khaki head. The aroma is super bready with multigrain and a hint of caramel. Maybe there’s some light floral hops in the background. The flavor is very dry and grainy. Pretty complex malt profile. I enjoyed this one a lot. A very good, standard dark lager.

Tin. Pours very dark brown with long lasting white head. Mexican sugar aroma. Flavour is not sugar sweet, but malty with a bit of sweetness. Some nut, and hop, in the finish

Had this on draft at the brewery. Some green apple, malty, slight tartness, nice bready finish. This was a surprise to me, very nice.

Can. Mild and bright soapy hop aroma, clean and toasty malt profile. Flavor is rich and creamy with hints of toffee and a bitter herbal afterglow. Overall a great interpretation of the mexican dark lager style.

Can... Poured clean brown with a moderate off-white head. Nose had toasted, nutty grains. Similar grain notes came through in the flavor. Moderate to light mouthfeel. Sweet, nutty, caramel sugar notes. And some earthy spices. Bready finish.
