With a brilliant, deep copper hue and creamy beige-colored head, our Fall Hornin’ Pumpkin Ale has inviting aromas of caramelized malt and baking bread with highlights of cinnamon, nutmeg, pumpkin and seasonal spices. The pleasantly creamy mouthfeel and silky body embrace the sweet caramel flavors and tang of spices (with just a hint of hops) that ends in a smooth, round finish. Malts: Pale Two-Row, Maris Otter, Munich, Crystal 120L, Dark Chocolate, Pumpkin Puree Hops: Bravo

UPDATED: OCT 6, 2013 Thin and watery with too much carbonation. Absolutely no taste of pumpkin in this spiced ale. I had expected much more from this brewery and was not able to finish the six pack. I will not buy again.

Can from Total Wine in Folsom, CA. Pours clear dark orange amber with a creamy yellow tan head. Aroma is spice. Tickled my windpipe! Med body or a bit less. Flavor is very strong spice. Fairly dry and spicy/bitter. Lots of spice in the finish.

Hazy dark burnt orange with a generous foamy light beige head. Nose is typical of the style; lots of pumpkin spice and allspice/clove. Flavor is full malty yet semi-dry, with a smooth pumpkin tone throughout that lost the fall spices from the nose somehow. Slightly earthy with a clovey finish. Nice rich pumpkin ale that refrains from being a cookie cutter...even if the nose betrays it.

Bottle. Very dark brown pours with splashes of ruby throughout. Tall foamy tan head. Strong cinnamon, nutmeg and clove in the nose along with roasted pumpkin and light caramel notes. Taste is roasted pumpkin, light chocolate, caramel, cinnamon, nutmeg, clove, soft hops and dark bready notes. Body is medium with a moderate, bubbly carbonation. Finishes with more pumpkin notes, cinnamon, strong spices, dark bread, caramel, light chocolate notes and touches of hops.

Aromas of pumpkin, cinnamon, nutmeg, and slight pepper. Dark ruby, almost black, with a fairly lasting splotchy, beige head. Dry, earthy, a little metallic, and with rich pumpkin and spicy flavors. Light-medium bodied, feels a little thin, but carbonation is lifting and cleansing, and finishes with spicy, peppery, cinnamon-like notes.

12 sept 2013, bottle. Brown, clear, no bubbles. Nose is pumpkin pie spices. Thin body and moderately fizzy. Tastes more like gingerbread cookies than pumpkin pie. Decent. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Pours a deep brown with a minimal white head. Smells like pumpkins and spices, go figure. Creamy and soft, with a good amount of the cinnamon sugar and pumpkin coming through but it isn’t really striking me as amazing. Not bad but not great either.

Clear, red-brown with a huge, tan head. Spicy pumpkin aroma. Pumpkin, cola, nutmeg flavor...a little cinnamon sting. Pretty good, liked the cola note.

Canned on metro north. Orange yellow. Cinnamon etc. Nothing new to see here. OK enough.
