With a brilliant, deep copper hue and creamy beige-colored head, our Fall Horniní Pumpkin Ale has inviting aromas of caramelized malt and baking bread with highlights of cinnamon, nutmeg, pumpkin and seasonal spices. The pleasantly creamy mouthfeel and silky body embrace the sweet caramel flavors and tang of spices (with just a hint of hops) that ends in a smooth, round finish. Malts: Pale Two-Row, Maris Otter, Munich, Crystal 120L, Dark Chocolate, Pumpkin Puree Hops: Bravo

Appearance: Dark brown body that shows a dark red hue as light shines through it. Through the darkness it is still apparent that the beer is pretty transparent. The head is a lucious creamy light tan fluff that leaves great lacing on the glass.

Aroma: I pick up cinnamon and some clove. It smells pretty standard for a pumpkin ale.

Taste: There is a nice toasty bread flavor to this beer right up front. Itís very delicious tasting and I just keep getting more bread characteristics...itís like eating wheat toast. A cinnamon flavor comes through, but Iím not picking up any other spices. The cinnamon is about medium strength but the base beer has a lot of flavor that pushes it out of the way a bit.

Mouthfeel: The mouthfeel is very present while drinking, but afterwards it is a bit thin. It has perfect carbonation. Not a lot of hop or grain bitterness. Pretty standard feeling overall. The beer is highly drinkable.

Overall: Itís a really good pumpkin beer. If youíre a fan of strongly spiced pumpkin beers it probably wouldnít be fr you. If you want just enough pumpkin spice to remind you that it is the fall, my recommendation is to try it. What I really like is that the base beer is tasty enough to stand by itself. Even if you arenít a fan of pumpkin spice, the nice toasted flavor in the beer really makes this a pleasant beer to drink. Iím going to pick up some more.

12 oz bottle from Imbibe Wine. Nose is light nutmeg and cinnamon and a hint of cocoa. Clear rusty brown with a small beige head. Flavor is pumpkin pie spices and caramel. Very mediocre pumpkin ale. Glad I only bought one $2 bottle not a sixer or case!

Draft at Universal Joint. Pours murky brown with a thick, creamy beige head and lots of lacing. Tastes like dry, bitter spice, pumpkin, roasted malt, and a hint of sweet pumpkin pie. Light/medium body and low carbonation. Smells like sweet pumpkin pie, cinnamon, some vegetable, and some alcohol.

Tap. Pours hazy brown with thick, creamy off-white head. Aroma is pumpkin notes (not overdone), cookie and bready malts, some vanilla, light spice, and faint woodiness. Flavor is dry and malty with big spice presence, well balanced pumpkin and vanilla sweetness, with a good touch of hop bitterness; dry throughout. Medium body and carbonation.

Can at home courtesy of bmoosey, cheers Bruce!
Attractive dark ruby with beige head collapsing to lacing. Cinnamon buns and nutmeg on nose. Spicey and bready up front, a lil thin with a touch of acridity in finish that builds up. Reminds me of cinnamon grahams. Not quite my type but well done.

One of the best Pumpkin beers I have ever had. I wish I could enjoy more than just one sip.

A deep copper colour. Tasty, tasty, tasty. This beer isnít super pumpkin-y, but I think itís a big strength. Itís more of a pumpkin pie taste with nutmeg, cinnamon, and a hint of pumpkin.

A decent Pumpkin beer, not overpowering.

Pours out like a super bubbly cola, dark brown body and large but quick fading tan head. Flat aroma of generic beer with a little bit of spice. Flavor is more interesting. I donít really get any pumpkin, but lots of sweet and roasted malt with cinnamon. Light body with smooth carbonation is a pleasure to swish around. Itís fine.
