With a brilliant, deep copper hue and creamy beige-colored head, our Fall Hornin’ Pumpkin Ale has inviting aromas of caramelized malt and baking bread with highlights of cinnamon, nutmeg, pumpkin and seasonal spices. The pleasantly creamy mouthfeel and silky body embrace the sweet caramel flavors and tang of spices (with just a hint of hops) that ends in a smooth, round finish. Malts: Pale Two-Row, Maris Otter, Munich, Crystal 120L, Dark Chocolate, Pumpkin Puree Hops: Bravo

Pumpking Jr. Has all the spices and seasonal flavours with a lighter body. Actually pretty easy to knock back. A well made Fall beer.

For a pumpkin beer I was very disappointed in the aroma. There was not scent that even resembled pumpkin. This could possibly be because the beer was sitting in my fridge since last season, but I would have expected better. The beer did have very excellent lacing but the color was deep brown and was also unfiltered. As for flavor I experienced some metallic taste (probably its time in the can I opened). It was a little too tart for my liking. The aftertaste was also not favorable. Overall this one rates lower on my pumpkin beer list.

"A purty beer that like many is more spice than pumpkin. Opens up nicely though. Nutmeg, all spice, light ginger & cinnamon. Nice smooth malty backbone, which works well with this one. About on par with Sam Adams Harvest Pumpkin, just better lookin."

Great spicy aroma. Pours dark amber with a very stiff, beige head. Cinnamon dominates, with a nice sweetness. Finish is slightly bitter. Higher than average carbonation. Very easy drinking.

12oz can. Kind of clear dark red color. Thin khaki head, leaving very nice lace. Medium plus body. Smooth, kind of crisp, lighter carbonation. Lightly slick finish. Moderate sweet taste, mild bitterness. Some spice. Good pumpkin, spice flavors, kind of toasty. Solid, complex easy-drinking smooth pumpkin ale. Nice malt profile stands up to the spice.

Allspice and nutmeg, biscuits and molasses aroma. Dark cola brown, nearly white head. So-so can. Damn - I was hoping for something better than the Terrapin pumpkin that I mistakenly bought again tonight. It was not to be. Most pumpkin beers are screwups. Medium body. Perfunctory remainder of the rating. ABC Liquors, Betton.

Can. Pours a dark amber with a thick layer of beige head. Aroma of pumpkin with some alive and that’s it. Taste still of pumpkin but with a malty hint.

Mild hazy deep brown. Thick fluffy egg nog colored head. Aroma is spicy and sweet from malt. Excellent balance between subtle pumpkin aroma and fall spices. Flavor is similarly balanced between sweet and spicy. Pumpkin is definitely noticeable in body and flavor. Malt sweetness holds it all together. Medium sweet finish with lingering pumpkin pie flavor. ---Rated via iPhone

Deep mahogany beer with a creamy tan head that sets up in peaks. Nose is dominated by sweet spice with nutmeg. cinnamon, and ginger the most prominent. Flavor is surprisingly watered down given the aroma, which is a shame. It has a sweet malty brown sugar backbone with hints of the pumpkin pie spices followed by a light bitterness. I expected the spice to grow and linger into the after taste, but everything just fell flat. Good idea. Poor execution.

Pours an opaque brown with creamy, coarse, milkshake like beige head. The aroma smells strongly of cinnamon and pumpkin. The flavor begins malty with some bitterness behind it, followed by a pumpkiny thickness. The finish is unexpectedly bitter and lingering. I don’t like it as well as other Anderson Valley products.
