With a brilliant, deep copper hue and creamy beige-colored head, our Fall Hornin’ Pumpkin Ale has inviting aromas of caramelized malt and baking bread with highlights of cinnamon, nutmeg, pumpkin and seasonal spices. The pleasantly creamy mouthfeel and silky body embrace the sweet caramel flavors and tang of spices (with just a hint of hops) that ends in a smooth, round finish. Malts: Pale Two-Row, Maris Otter, Munich, Crystal 120L, Dark Chocolate, Pumpkin Puree Hops: Bravo

12 sept 2013, bottle. Brown, clear, no bubbles. Nose is pumpkin pie spices. Thin body and moderately fizzy. Tastes more like gingerbread cookies than pumpkin pie. Decent. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Pours a deep brown with a minimal white head. Smells like pumpkins and spices, go figure. Creamy and soft, with a good amount of the cinnamon sugar and pumpkin coming through but it isn’t really striking me as amazing. Not bad but not great either.

Clear, red-brown with a huge, tan head. Spicy pumpkin aroma. Pumpkin, cola, nutmeg flavor...a little cinnamon sting. Pretty good, liked the cola note.

Bottle sample at the pumpkin beer tasting at Blacklick Wine & Spirits on 9/5/13. Clear reddish brown pour with a thick tan head. Aroma of ginger, cinnamon, nutmeg, brown sugar and malt. Flavor starts malty, with lots of cinnamon and ginger accents before a mostly dry finish.

Pours a brown with a thick white head. Smells of cinnamon and slightly of roasted malt. This one surprised me. I am not the biggest fan of the taste of pumpkin but with all of these seasonal pumpkin beers coming out i got curious. They blended the taste of the pumpkin with a light cinnamon flavor and hints of roast that gives it a smooth finish i thought it was very good.

Bottle. Nutmeg, cinnamon, and pumpkin malt aroma. Chestnut brown with giant tan head. Lightly sweet cinnamon, nutmeg and light pumpkin malt flavor. Light body. Not bad - would have like more malt flavor.

Bottle. Amber brown with small head. Remarkably bland pumpkin beer. Mild pumpkin and just dull emptiness.

Bottle. Poured clear orange copper color with an average to large off-white frothy head that was mostly lasting with good lacing. Soft doughy pumpkin and spice aroma. Medium body with a frothy texture and soft carbonation. Medium balanced sweet flavor with a medium sweet finish of moderate duration. Soft seasonal beer.
