COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
With a brilliant, deep copper hue and creamy beige-colored head, our Fall Hornin’ Pumpkin Ale has inviting aromas of caramelized malt and baking bread with highlights of cinnamon, nutmeg, pumpkin and seasonal spices. The pleasantly creamy mouthfeel and silky body embrace the sweet caramel flavors and tang of spices (with just a hint of hops) that ends in a smooth, round finish. Malts: Pale Two-Row, Maris Otter, Munich, Crystal 120L, Dark Chocolate, Pumpkin Puree Hops: Bravo

08.11.14 stamp. Poured from a can into an Anderson Valley tumbler on 11.07.14. A: Pumpkin, spice, and brown sugar. A: 2 finger off-white head that is retained. Brown/red body that is mostly opaque. It looks like an amber ale. T: Cinnamon, nutmeg, and brown sugar dominate. Pumpkin is subtle. P: Creamy with a crisp back end. It’s on the watery side but it’s refreshing. O: This is what other breweries should emulate for a pumpkin ale that isn’t in your face with pumpkin flavor. Pumpkin is there, but it’s in the background. Each spice that is commonly found in pumpkin pie is also detectable here unlike other pumpkin ales that try to hold back the pumpkin flavor, but end up being jumbled messes.

My favorite part of this beer was the subtle taste of Bourbon Whiskey that lingered after each sip.

12oz bottle poured into lager glass. Fall Hornin’ pours a partly clear rich copper color with a nice tan brown head that lasts a good while. The aroma is pumpkin, caramel and a mix of spices with ginger, nutmeg and cinnamon. The flavor is also pumpkin, caramel, ginger, cinnamon and nutmeg, but slightly muddied and watered down. Overall this is a pretty nice brew.

Thin light beige head of fine bubbles that recedes quickly. Rich aroma loaded with spices, gingerbread, squash and some roasted malts. Beautiful dark crimson colored ale. Medium bodied with lots more spices and gingerbread. Roasted grains, and a lingering bitterness late swallow. Large presence of spices which makes the palate a bit chalky and pasty yet the spices dont overpower the flavor. A pretty good and balanced pumpkin ale.

Cybercat (4085) - Georgia, USA - DEC 26, 2014
Pours a translucent and appetizing mahogany sigh a thick buff head. Malty aroma has a pumpkin and cinnamon overtone. Flavor echoes the notes of the aroma and tosses a bit of clove onto the mix. This is pure fall, but good any time of year! Firm texture has some good fizz, and leaves a spicy (cinnamon and clove) and slightly pumpkin and woody finish. Fall into one.

Barwa i piana: barwa głęboko czerwona / miedziana, lekko zamglona. Smak: dosyć słodki i słodowy (chleb, biszkopty, melanoidyny, karmel) z lekkim posmakiem dyni, pomarańczy oraz przypraw (goździki, cynamon) i akcentem miodowym. Goryczka i odczucie w ustach: niska i delikatna goryczka, choć dość długi przyprawowy finisz. Średnia pełnia, niskie do umiarkowanego wysycenie i lekko szorstki odczucie w ustach połączone z niewielka nutą alkoholową. Kolejne piwo dyniowe, właściwie jedynie z nazwy.
