With a brilliant, deep copper hue and creamy beige-colored head, our Fall Hornin’ Pumpkin Ale has inviting aromas of caramelized malt and baking bread with highlights of cinnamon, nutmeg, pumpkin and seasonal spices. The pleasantly creamy mouthfeel and silky body embrace the sweet caramel flavors and tang of spices (with just a hint of hops) that ends in a smooth, round finish. Malts: Pale Two-Row, Maris Otter, Munich, Crystal 120L, Dark Chocolate, Pumpkin Puree Hops: Bravo

Are you kidding me. I wish they all could be California pumpin beeeeers...This one rocked. The first taste was OK but after that each drink was a pumpkin orgasim in my mouth. Tastes good smells good feels good...Its just freaking good. I will have to get a piece of pumpkin bubble yum after this. This is a good drink at work, at home, at church. Any place you want a drink. PUmpkin this bad boy out. I will wait in the field with Linus for the Great PUmpkin if he is handing out this beer. Remember drink safely and if drinking at work make sure you have Big Red just in case your boss comes calling.

11/XI/15 - 12Fl. Oz. bottle from Geers (Oostakker) @ home - BB: n/a (2015-1549)

Clear ruby purple beer, creamy irregular yellow to beige head, little stable, adhesive, leaving a nice lacing in the glass. Aroma: very spicy, lots of cloves, quite some cinnamon, ginger bread. MF: soft carbon, medium body. taste: bit sweet, caramel, ripe banana, very spicy, somewhat citric. Aftertaste: lots of cloves, cinnamon, some caramel, way too spicy. Meh.

Hazy brown with a thin white head. Sweet aroma of caramel and cinnamon. Taste confirms the sweetness, adding pumpkin, cake, chocolate. Creamy, medium bodied, not much bitterness here. Surprisingly a very good ale!

12fl.oz. bottle from 2015 Craft Beer Advent Calendar. Pours a clear mahogany with a large. long lasting, creamy, beige head that laces. Nice aroma of caramel malt, pumpkin, cinnamon, nutmeg, ginger, clove and bread. Sweet, spicy flavour of cinnamon, ginger, nutmeg, clove and caramel malt with a hint of hops in a tangy, dry, slightly bitter finish. Light to medium body with a creamy, oily texture and soft carbonation. Well done, as far as pumpkin ales go.

Bottle. Nose deep and malty, strong physical pumpkin with some earth and sweet spices. Pours deep blood red that’s dark brown at full volume, supports a thick tan head. Taste dry to start with strong scratchy spice and plenty of earth, picks up fruit (mainly red berry) with each sip and thus gains some sweetness; bitterness stronger than expected, about medium on my scale, and notable in the finish. Earthy, malty, pine from medium hops, mild chocolate with is hard to notice at first but adds nice, swirling complexity by the end. Touch caramel, nutmeg the strongest spice and could be pulled back a bit, but the others show some restraint. Bold flavor with body and seemingly more alcohol. As far as these go, good enough for two, but that might be enough for the entire season. [2015.11.15: 3.2]

Sample tasting at Hackney’s Printers Row. Highly spiced and herbal....this tastes like Jagermeister. Nuff said.
