4.3 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
Are you kidding me. I wish they all could be California pumpin beeeeers...This one rocked. The first taste was OK but after that each drink was a pumpkin orgasim in my mouth. Tastes good smells good feels good...Its just freaking good. I will have to get a piece of pumpkin bubble yum after this. This is a good drink at work, at home, at church. Any place you want a drink. PUmpkin this bad boy out. I will wait in the field with Linus for the Great PUmpkin if he is handing out this beer. Remember drink safely and if drinking at work make sure you have Big Red just in case your boss comes calling.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Roasted caramelized pumpking since some nutmeg and clove in the aroma; nice deep amber-brown color with frothy beige head; nice caramelized pumpkin maltiness up front that moves quickly to a d dry spicy finish with a bit of hop bitterness, the spices are balanced and not overwhelming and therefore a nice characteristic, but donít dominate; medium body, average mouthfeel; Anderson Valley seems to be overlooked and underrated these days, but their beers are typically quite good; that being said, I was hoping for more from this beer, but was unfortunately disappointed (I donít like the hoppiness in the finish as it seems incongruous with the spice blend used); actually, this beer seems to improve as it warms, so Iím liking it more and more and starting to think that the Bravo hop flavors (earthy spice and herb, fruity and floral) actually work well in this Pumpkin Ale...

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
12 fl oz bottle from De Bierkoning, bottled in July 2015. Clear, deep red with a medium large, creamy, almost stable, tan head. Fruity-spicy aroma of cinnamon, redcurrant, elderberries and plums. Sweetish, fruity-spicy taste of cinnamon, toffee, elderberries, plums and raisins, followed by a medium long, slightly bitter finish with lots of cinnamon. Medium body, creamy and slightly oily mouthfeel, very soft carbonation. Well-balanced, malt-accented ale with a huge load of cinnamon. Didnít really get the pumpkin which is supposed to be good I think. Since I like cinnamon, I enjoyed this beer a lot!

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Pours clear mahogany with a thick off white head from the bottle. Aroma is totally pumpkin spice. Taste is very pumpkiny with a bit of malt and a smidgen of hoppiness. Good earthy beer.
