Robust. Brewed with a “heelch” (that means “a lot” in Boontling) of Columbus, Chinook, and Cascade hops, our double IPA has a palate pleasing bitterness that is artfully balanced with a full-bodied malt foundation. With a deep color of polished brass and a nose that sings of pink grapefruit and redwood needles, the rich biscuit-like malt flavors are intertwined with hints of vanilla, mangoes, and peppercorns leading to a deep, warming finish.

Golden pour with a thick white head. The nose is intensely hoppy. Lots of peppery, grassy hops aroma with a lot of pine and resinous character. Nicely spicy in back of the piny notes. Alcohol is quite apparent as is the assertive bitterness. Nice stuff, really.

Glad to give this one a go. Pours the colour of bourbon in the glass, with a classic rocky, coral reef style cap & incredible amounts of lacing. Everything I like about a double ipa in the first few sips: thick bitterness, loads of grapefruit zest, pine essence, some citrus sweetness. The booze is evident, as it clings to the tongue & throat as it goes down, which may come off as a bit messy for some, but I dig it for the first beer of the night. Recommended.

The beer pours a slightly hazed golden orange colour with a generous off-white rocky head that lasts. The aroma is pine, citrus, caramel, and grains. The mouthfeel is medium bodied with average carbonation. The flavour has a sweet and sour complexity. Nice caramel notes balanced with citrus notes

Bottle, 355 ml from Za Popen’t, Ljubljana. Pours hazy orange, small white head. Fruity, hoppy and caramel aroma. Sweet, caramel malty, bit piney, fruity with bitter finish.

Pours a clear golden-amber colour with a big frothy yellowish head that stays long and creates nice foamy-creamy lace with designs. Aromas of thick green grass with lots of citrus fruits (tangerine, oranges), all with caramel malts. The mouthfeel starts off wet, medium-bodied, and end with just a little dryness. The bitterness builds up with time. Lots of oranges and grapefruit zest in the taste over cereal malts. Goes down well, but just not my type of DIPA.
