3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
12 ounce bottle pours a medium hazy copper color. Very fluffy light head that lasts a long time. Not a huge hop aroma but there is some pine and citrus. Medium to full-bodied for style with a lot of residual sweetness. Seems like the flavor just drops off within odd after taste. I'm a bit disappointed in this and was expecting more from Anderson Valley.

3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
12oz into a glass. Pours a cloudy medium bodied orange with shades of bronze, brass and tan. Head is mediue strenght, ample, frothy and leaves a good amount of lacing on the glass as a 2cm head lingers. Aroma is piney, sweet citrus, melon, grass, Home Depot fertilizer, and spicey. Taste is piney, grapefruit, bitter hops but a twang of sweetness on the end. Abv can shine in the taste but doesnt negatively factor in. A solid brew, full bodied and strong, this dipa offers what it stands for, a beautiful rendition of a strong ale. Solid.

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
355ml bottle shared with jeevan. Pretty much a textbook double IPA. Pours clear golden yellow, thin white head. Surprisingly fresh on the nose and taste, lots of grapefruit and resin going on. Light biscuit on the taste, but freshness is the main thing here. Taste’s great, really enjoyed it.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottled. A hazy amber beer with abeige head. The aroma has notes of over ripe fruits, malt, and caramel. The flavor is sweet with notes of over ripe fruits, caramel, and spic hops, leading to a a bitter finish.

2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 10/20
Bottle from Great Grog. Clear amber body with a fluffy off-white head. Light carbonation. Sticky lacing marks. Aroma of digestive biscuits, caramel, oranges and honey. Boozy flavour is sickly sweet with pine needles and a lovely peppery finish. Medium body with an oily mouthfeel. Prickly fizz. Not even its 100 IBUs can prevent this from being a cloying, overly sweet beer, although the spice on the finish is really nice. Very malty for a Double IPA.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 13/20
Pourz a tangeeine color with a good white head. Smells bland a bitter. I’m having to rate this in Hong Jong because its nor available in Austin, Texas. It has the same problem that alk Andersin Valley beers have, bland and bitter. The bland malt overpowers any citrus hop character that could have made it more awesome. On some awesome note its like an American double coming off as a single English IPA

3.4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Clear, amber colour with big white head lasting thin cover to the bottom. Strong aroma of malt, biscuits, citrus and pine. Quite pleasant. Taste is heavy sweet, malty, biscuits or even with bubblegum sweetness. After that appears some bitterness (citrusy and piney), but it’s not well balanced. Soft carbonation. Medium body. Average IIPA.

2.4 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 8/20
On tap at Joe Canals West Deptford.
Appearance: The body has a light haze with a orange-amber hue. The head is dense and neat with great retention and a light tan hue.
Aroma: This smells like an old American barleywine. Subtle citrus and musky malts, some caramel and toast. Not a fan.
Taste: Hints of fig, old malts, light citrus, slight bitterness. Just not enjoyable. Is this a very old keg? We just received it...
Palate: Full-bodied, lightly carbonated.
Overall: I checked the keg, it wasn’t dated easily to read. It says 13112 with a sticker, so I’m assuming the distributor sent us a really old keg. I am not positive though, I will revise this review as needed.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
330mL bottle. Pours a clear golden hue with a small white head. Aroma of citrus and resinous pine with an amazing flavour mainly dominated by resinous pine however it is very complex. he slight sweetness of the biscuit malt balances the massive resinous bitterness.
