COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Robust. Brewed with a “heelch” (that means “a lot” in Boontling) of Columbus, Chinook, and Cascade hops, our double IPA has a palate pleasing bitterness that is artfully balanced with a full-bodied malt foundation. With a deep color of polished brass and a nose that sings of pink grapefruit and redwood needles, the rich biscuit-like malt flavors are intertwined with hints of vanilla, mangoes, and peppercorns leading to a deep, warming finish.

MALTS:
Pale Two-Row, Victory

HOPS:
Columbus, Chinook, Cascade

Bottled. Pours a little cloudy with medium head, beautiful lacing. Excellent citrussy smell with malty sweet background. Balanced sweet/hoppy taste. Cascade clearly noticeable. Quite bitter aftertaste. Great ale.

On tap at St. Augustine's. Clear gold with outstanding lacing. Aroma of pine, caramel, citrus rind. Taste is quite bitter, with a good punch of sweetness.

Bomber. Clear orange, solid cumulus white head fades to a foamy ring. Aroma is citrus fruity and floral. Nice fruity citrus hop bite, quite grapefruity, a little flowery, light roast caramel malt, some resinous pine. Average carbonation, medium bodied, more aggressively hopped. Fruity bitter herbal finish. Very nice. NFL (Not For Lagerboys)

Amber/golden, hazy beer with a three finger high, beige, creamy, fluffy head. A lot of lacing stays on the glass liked whipped cream. Nose: Floral, sweet malt, butter, caramel and citrus. Taste: Fruit, pineapple, pine, malt, hops, herbs and grapefruit. A medium bitterness an body. Light carbonation. Not so sweet as many other DIPA:s - I like this!

Sampled at Nærbø Ølfestival 2013. Hazy golden body with a fine white head. Strong and nice citric aroma with distinct malt, caramel and some pine. Flavor is sweet malty in good balance with the bitterness, caramel, citric fruit and some pine and marmalade. Fine body and long, sweet and bitter aftertaste. A really nice, smooth and distinct IPA. Outstanding.

Bottle 355ml, an amber orange beer with good head. Nose is on fruis hops such as resin, over ripped fruits, citrus, exotic fruits and grapefruit. Aroma is on the same fruit notes, quite bitter, bit heavy on the sweet and alcohol side. Finish is on bitterness, pineapple, resin, orange, sweet caramel and grass.

On tap @ Beer Temple. A cartoon looking silly head on this. Just like the one you see in the cartoons really, fluffy white, big and really hanging in there. The nose has lots of sweet malty goodness. Some candy as well. Smells really nice. It’s definitely well hopped in the taste. Still the sweetness is almost dominant here. Really thick and malty on the palate with a soft to average carbonation level. A swirl of pine just rushes over my tongue after a while in the mouth. Sweet concentrated boiled down strawberries also comes to mind. Quite a good one! 26.09.2013

Lidt tynd og fluffy skumkrone, flot kobber rød i glasset. Kraftigt maltet og tung double ipa. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
