Good hoppy scent, decent golden color. This might be a slightly old bottle as it tasted a bit on the funky side for some reason

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
12 oz single bottle from Molly’s Spirits. Light amber and clear appearance with a sticky white head. Aroma of pine, resinous hops, light herbs, grass, earth and biscuit malts. Similar flavor, adding light citrus and tropical fruits and a bit of spicy hops. Mild malt sweetness and a lingering medium to heavy hop bitterness. Pretty full body with a syrupy mouth feel and a resinous bitter finish. Not very fun and kind of hard to drink. 3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle: Poured a hazy orangey color ale with a nice foamy head with OK retention and some lacing. Aroma of citrusy hops with bitter earthy hops is pleasant enough. Taste is a mix of citrusy hops with medium level of bitterness and light grainy malt with some residual sugar notes. Body is full with good carbonation. Not bad overall but malt bill is slightly off with a tad too much residual sugar notes and too much bitterness.

4.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 16/20
From the 4-pack pours a foggy glowing orange. Velvety smooth hop taste with some good bitter at the back end, easy drinking. Sticky and nice high alcohol this will be a go to.

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Slightly hazy orange pour, with a sticky ample off white cream colored head. This is an old school double ipa. A huge malt backbone demonstrated by ample biscuity malts and some big pine resin hops with hints of candied citrus peel. The body is a tad oily, and the carb is about what you’d expect. The finish is a little soapy and very resinous. With a medium bitterness, a nice summer sipper, not like today’s grapefruit dipa bombs, old school, and I like it.
