2.8 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 9/20
I might have got an old one, but this had barely any hop aroma. Just malt. Maybe a little pine, but not a bomb by any means. Looked nice, tasted alright, but kinda meh without the aroma to bring the whole package together. There was no date on the bottle, maybe it was from a separated 6pack?

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Bottle from Mane Liquor. Not fresh unfortunately. Could be solid stuff but has a lengthy stale toffee note throughout which overrides the pine. Ok

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottled. Pours, slightly hazy and deep golden with an average, lacing and off-white head. Aroma of grapefruit, mango, lemon, pine zest and caramel. Sweet flavor that ends up solid bitter. Medium bodied, oily texture and average carb. An excellent imp. IPA.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
From the tap, it pours a nice golden amber with a lacy head that dissipates quickly. Citrusy hops on the nose, hint of alcohol. Very smooth and creamy beer. Very hoppy; sweet and bitter flavors balanced very well. Citrus and yeast flavors, cream, dandelion finish. Coats the tongue with a creamy bitter flavor.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Nice ’in your face’ hoppiness, from the aroma straight through to the taste. Dark golden with small creamy head, lacing coats the glass all the way down. This is a citrus/pine explosion, but very drinkable as well. Alcohol is evident in warmth. Nice double.

4.4 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 18/20
35.5cl bottle @ home. Clear golden orange color medium white head. Aroma citrus, slight cannabis, flower in the nose. Flavor is dates, fruits, grapefruit, lime, corkwood, strong hops, grass, licorice, vanilla, citrus again, leaves, herbs, honey, biscuit, rum, wtf, this is very complex. Also leaves, wood, complete forest and mead, river and mountain, full with those aromas when you take a deep breath in the nature far away from any civilisation. Taste is light to medium sweetness, medium bitterness, lightly salty notes at the end. Refreshing, full body, creamy and slightly sticky texture, average carbonation but grows in the mouth, long moderated medicine bitter finish but the more I drink the more bitternes comes, maybe a bit too much at the very end. Very good and interesting one.

3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Green field and slight cooked vegetable aromas, not exactly what I was expecting. Hazy tangerine orange with a fluffy eggshell head. More of same in the taste with a good pronounced earthy/mushroom and pineapple hop bitterness that turns almost jalapeno spicy A light honeyed sweetness tries to balance this but ultimately loses the battle. Leaves a long lasting, tasty bitterness on the tongue. Although it’s a bit muddled, a good IPA nonetheless.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
12 ounce bottle pours a medium hazy copper color. Very fluffy light head that lasts a long time. Not a huge hop aroma but there is some pine and citrus. Medium to full-bodied for style with a lot of residual sweetness. Seems like the flavor just drops off within odd after taste. I'm a bit disappointed in this and was expecting more from Anderson Valley.

3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
12oz into a glass. Pours a cloudy medium bodied orange with shades of bronze, brass and tan. Head is mediue strenght, ample, frothy and leaves a good amount of lacing on the glass as a 2cm head lingers. Aroma is piney, sweet citrus, melon, grass, Home Depot fertilizer, and spicey. Taste is piney, grapefruit, bitter hops but a twang of sweetness on the end. Abv can shine in the taste but doesnt negatively factor in. A solid brew, full bodied and strong, this dipa offers what it stands for, a beautiful rendition of a strong ale. Solid.

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
355ml bottle shared with jeevan. Pretty much a textbook double IPA. Pours clear golden yellow, thin white head. Surprisingly fresh on the nose and taste, lots of grapefruit and resin going on. Light biscuit on the taste, but freshness is the main thing here. Taste’s great, really enjoyed it.
