3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle - Bought Aug 2013; BBE undated; Drank Oct 2013 - Deep Gold in colour. Very Hoppy; piney resinous and spicy (peppery) hops. Very Fruity; grapefruit and tangerine citrus, hints of tropical fruit. Malty backbone; biscuity malts, caramel. Nice hop/fruit/malt balance, particularly considering high IBUs. Bitter hoppy citrus fruity throughout; nice bitterness; not extreme. Decent DIPA!

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle, 11C. Clear golden amber with a large off-white head that lasts and laces quite well. Aroma of gentle grapefruit - yes, ruby grapefruit!, pine, dough, apricots. Lowish carbonation, slightly syrupy. No obvious alcohol. Mighty sweet with lots of light caramel, citrus that struggles a bit against the sweetness, pine, some twangy herbal notes that didn’t sit that well for me. Moderate bitterness.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Sweet penetrating hops & floral nose. Dense thick glossy off white head which forms with very little effort. Brilliant hazy golden orange glow. Fairly carbonic on the palate to start which leads to a juniper rubberish bitterness. Nice & lingering at the end but not enough core depth& strength for me.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Golden caramel thick lit haze with a split beige head. Nose is carmel soaked pine and malt, smothering hops. Sweet over bitter is the line up here. Catches of sweet minty pine and hop protected malt. Therefore, for the ABV, this thing sails aimlessly very easily. Creamy mouthfeel screams through as it warms, whipped and Brulee sweet towards the finish. Cooling salty hop bitterness on the linger. This is fairly fucking gud and discernibly drinkable.

3.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 14/20
On tap at Hop and Vine in north Burnaby. A medium amber beer as 4 oz sample on a 4-paddle. A hoppy beer with a strong malt note right up front with the hops. Nicely balanced, but the hops are substantially masked by the big malt component. Nice.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Keg @ Inn Deep. Muddy amber brown, good head. Mild pine hop aroma. Sweet flowery biscuit hop flavour. Smooth with bitter sweet aftertaste. A very well balanced quality IPA but it doesn’t look great.

Golden coloured and hazy. Has a white head, mostly lasting. Aroma is heavy hoppy, citrus, herbs, pine. Flavor starts lightly sweet, then heavy bitter, dry and a bit creamy.
