COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Robust. Brewed with a “heelch” (that means “a lot” in Boontling) of Columbus, Chinook, and Cascade hops, our double IPA has a palate pleasing bitterness that is artfully balanced with a full-bodied malt foundation. With a deep color of polished brass and a nose that sings of pink grapefruit and redwood needles, the rich biscuit-like malt flavors are intertwined with hints of vanilla, mangoes, and peppercorns leading to a deep, warming finish.

Pale Two-Row, Victory

Bottle [12oz]. Pours a cloudy copper-gold with a large semi-lasting fluffy white head. Lacing on the glass. Aroma of piney, grassy & floral hops along with citrus, sweet malt and more fruit. Flavour is sweet, with lots of resiny hops, sweet malt, sweet fruit, some alcohol and a dry, moderate bitter finish. Average bodied. A bit too sweet, knocking it from great to good.

Wet hops and vanilla on the nose. Bright gold with a decent foam. Strong bread, biscuit, vanilla and citrus flavors. Some caramel and unbalanced hops on the finish. Overall, nothing special about this. Tastes very generic. I’d give this a C rating.

Slight haze to a slightly brown-orange. Good lacing. Aroma has mild herbal, some fruit/floral,some dank, toasty buiscuit. Probably more strong with ripe fruit. Taste is good malty smooth no big booziness here. Its very easy drinking for a double.Good hoppy middle and finish.Slickness with a nice mellow sweet vanilla/honey. Grapefruit type bitter.Smooth slight linger. Somewhat ginger(peppery)-spice like. Pretty nice. Has a bit of funky oldish yeast off and on. Could be a bit aged/poorly stored/handled.

Golden pour with a white head. Floral hops, mild grass, and lots of orange peel. A light tropical character, some resinous pine notes, and a bit of caramel. There’s a mild sweetness to the flavor along with a moderate bitterness. Some orange peel, tropical fruit, and floral hop notes. A bit of toasted bread, grass, and plenty of pine.

Bottle. Pours a cloudy pale orange color with nice bubbly head that fades normally and never completely goes away. Leaves some lacing too. This aroma is pretty complex. Grapefruit and pineapple for sure but I’m getting some pine, flowers, and another foresty aroma. I’m guessing it’s the redwood needles based on the description. Also, some biscuity malt. Taste is surprisingly really good too. A bit too sweet but not bad. Lots of tart citrus fruit mixed with forest tastes like pine, redwood and flowers. Lots of noticeable biscuity malt that adds thickness and creaminess. Finish is smooth and even has some spicy black pepper too. Really enjoyed this beer, glad I bought this.

Bottle from Five Points Bottle Shop (Atlanta Highway) in Athens. Very pleasant mixed (citrus/pine) hop aroma, not an assault, some caramel. Fair orange/amber color, one finger of clumpy white head, good lace. Good balance in initial, nice fruit and some caramel / a slightly sourish note emerges, and then the fruitiness expands / rich aftertaste. Medium-heavy body. Well made and tasty and balanced. Brings out a variety of flavors throughout the palate. The best I’ve had from this brewery.
