4.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
Bottle- poured a deep cloudy gold with the most incredible cap - it looked like 4 inches of whipped cream and lasted. Aroma is a good balance between Pac.NW hops (citrus, floral pine) and bready-caramel malts. The flavor is the epitome of BIG and Balanced hops and malts battle for supremacy until the long wet finish which gets pleasantly bitter. When you down one of these you know you’ve had a substantial beer - big in flavor, body and satisfaction, yet silky and approachable - probably the best west coast IPA I’ve sampled.

.35l bottle @Vihreä Haltiatar. Pours a bit hazy yellow with high thick head. Aroma is dried fruits, hops, citrus, malts, some bread, syrup notes and pine notes. Flavor is mostly same. Nice balance between sweetish malts and fresh, hoppy kick!

3.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bem amarga como deve ser toda imperial IPA. Amargor persistente após cada gole. O ponto negativo e que praticamente não percebi o malte o que daria mais intensidade de sabores.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
On tap at Kasey?s Tavern in a pint glass. Big fan of this bar. Orange and golden in color. Quarter finger of head. Light lacing. Aroma has elements of grain and malt with an understated hop characteristic. Taste is not as bright as other IPAs and double IPAs but has a strong hop quality. Bitterness plays a big part especially at the end and in the aftertaste. Slight sweetness of tropical fruit comes into play as well. Easy to drink with a sugary mouthfeel. Worth a sample if you stumble across it.

Bottle from Marham LCBO A: citrusy, grapefruit, biscuity, light mango app: clear light copper with thick white head and good lacing. T/p: med body with moderate long bitter finish. O: I couldn’t find a bottling date on the label and sadly looks like I might have it an old bottle. Aromatics are on the low side. hopefully I will be able to find a fresher version and I will gladly update my rating after.

Fat berggrens källare motala. Orangefärgad med rejäl humledoft. Lätt söt och med lite knäck i bakgrunden.
Smak av barr, citrus, torkad frukt och bränt socker. Tjock och fin munkänsla med fin efterbeska.

Clear orange color with thin foam layer. Sweet hoppy smell. The taste is oily thick, sweet and hoppy bitter. Fruity dry and a little tart aftertaste. Not bad, not too good either.

Pours a cloudy dark orange. Big aromas: lemon, pine, grapefruit, candied sugar. Big hoppy flavors, bready malts, lots of citrus. Very much in the West coast style in term of bitterness. Odd sweet aftertaste. Not my favorite IPA, but it’s still good.
