Bottle shared at a tasting at the Beer & Beyond shop. Pours an hazy yellow with a small head, aroma of pine, marmalade, bitterness, flavor is bitter with grapefruit, refreshing, medium bodied

Slightly hazy copper coloured body with an orange glow and a thick, three centimetre tall tan head - nice. Aroma of resin, pineapple, pine and a thick sweetness, like honey or corn syrup. Medium to Full-bodied; Strong resinous flavour with some pine and deep grapefruity malt noticeable coupled with the rich sweetness that lingers. Aftertaste shows mostly malt and sweetness, with a hint of very resinous hoppiness and a prolonged bitterness. Overall, a decent Imperial IPA with perhaps too much bitterness or depth and not enough hoppiness and balance between the hops and malt. Nice to try, but not my favourite. I sampled this twelve ounce bottle purchased from Total Wine in McLean, Virginia on 02-April-2013 for US$2.49 sampled at home in Washington on 20-May-2013.

Sampled on draft this beer poured a dark golden color with a medium sized foamy orange-white head that lingered and left great lacing. The aroma was sweet and tangy pine and grapefruit. The flavor was sweet and tangy pepper, bread, grapefruit, pine and resin. Medium length dryish pepper, grapefruit and pine finish. Moderately full bodied. Solid.

From a bottle. Pours hazy gold. Tastes like mild citrus, hints of floral hops, slightly sweet with hints of caramel. Complex flavor. Smells nutty and malty. Medium body and low carbonation.

Bottle. Pours bright amber with a slight haze and thick, creamy off-white head; decent retention and spare lacing. Aroma is biscuit and cereal malts, grapefruit, lemon, floral and spicy hops, grassy notes, and light toffee. Flavor is dry, bready malts forward with a hint of sweetness and supporting light fruit esters, and mild hop bitterness. Medium body and low carbonation.

Pours amber with a white head. Aroma is malt, grass, peach and citrus. Flavour is malt, citrus, grapefruit and peach.

Bottle @ YNWA, Kolding. Pours clear golden amber with a medium, frothy, off-white head. Aroma has peach, pine, light oak, citrus, oranges. Medium carbonation, nice creamy and dry mouthfeel. Flavour is nice, sweet malts, caramel, biscuits, citrus, pine. Grassy. Very bitter. Nice elegance.

~Strong hop aroma of citrus lemon, orange, and grapefruit with piney and floral notes. Bready biscuity malt character. ~Pours a hazy yellowish orange color with big long lasting fluffy white head. ~Surprisngly malty bready flavor up front and throughout with a huge blast of citrusy and piney malts. ~Heavy bodied, with medium low CO2, creamy, long lasting hop bitterness. ~Enjoyable beer. Not really a fan of this style as they tend to be too sweet in attempt to balance out large hop dosing. This is one of the better ones that i’ve had. Doesn’t give me a stomach ache.

Clear golden amber colour with an average sized foamy off-white head. The aroma is very nice with fruity and piney hops, moderate bitterness and some maltiness. Balanced it seems to be. Let’s see. The flavour is rather nice and balanced. There’s piney and resiny hops but not that overwhelming. Biscuit maltiness and moderate sweetness. The bitterness is balanced. Enjoyable.
