Hits very smooth with some heft, then slowly warms with a soft bite at the end. Tastes like a good IIPA, but feels like an excited wine. Well done.

355ml bottle. Clear orangey golden colour with average, creamy, half-way lasting, moderately lacing, white head. Resinous and fruity hop aroma with notes of grapefruit, orange zest. Taste is initially minimally biting bitter hoppy, piney, some grapefruit, some orange, underlying caramel malty, hints of biscuit, later less bitter, rounder, with a spicy, salty and peppery liquorice touch.

Bottle. Dark golden, hazy, average and mostly diminishing head. Moderate to full, malty and sweetish aroma, tropical fruitiness and some caramel, lots of grapefruit and some citrus hoppyness. Body is medium to full, malty and sweetish flavor, tropical fruitiness and caramel, grapefruit and some grapefruit - piney hoppyness. Finish is average, malty and sweetish, some tropical fruitiness and caramel, some grapefruit - piney hoppyness, light alcohol. Nice fruity and hoppy aroma - flavor lacks the hoppyness/bit too much caramel.
