COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Summer Solstice Seasonal Ale is not just your average summer seasonal. This unique copper colored ale is smooth, malty, and lightly sweet, with a delicate hint of spice for that oh-so-drinkable, extra velvety flavor.

A semi clear amber color with a moderate white head of foam and good lacing. Toasted malt aroma with some caramel and an apparent cream flavor along with some light fruit. Taste is sweet up front with biscuit and caramel malt and some vanilla. A bit of yeastiness and orange flavor mid palate and hint of bitterness in finish. Mouthfeel was creamy with a light/medium body and medium carbonation. Sweet but not cloying. A unique tasting summer beer with the sweetness and vanilla.

Pours amber with a white head. Very sweet, bread, and vanilla. Creamy mouthfeel. This was too sweet. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Pours a clear amber with an eggshell head out of the superior package. Aroma of bready malts, vanilla, and candy caramel. Flavor is dominated by a caramel/butterscotch flavor, but not in a diacetyl way. Can’t tell if this flavor is a flaw or on purpose. Light, great carbonation, and drinkable either way.

12oz can. Clear, somewhat darker amber color. Thin khaki head, quickly fades to minimal. Doesn’t leave any lace. Moderate strength carbonation. Kind of a smoother texture. Lightly dry finish. Light orange, light creme flavor. Moderate sweet, light spice. Interesting, alright wheat ale.

Poured from a can. Reddish copper color with substantial head. Fruity aroma. Creamy texture. Weird flavor, almost like cherries. Not what I expected from a summer beer. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

I was not impressed on any level. Had it out of the can is very mellow other then the aftertaste which sticks out like a sore thumb and then your stuck sucking that thumb. ovr all probably a good summer beer if you don’t mind lingering natural flavors.

A - Copper with red hues, creamy 2.5 finger head that melts into a solid collar. S - Smells like Capt n Crunch mostly. Toasted wheat crackers, some caramel, sweet puffed rice, sugary grain. T - Slightly toasted sugary grain, vanilla bean, M - Medium body, lush and creamy feel. My first cream ale so I don’t have anything to compare it to. I always thought this would be a style I wouldn’t like but this was very good. Great aroma, totally different than anything I’ve ever smelled out of beer. This is a very homey feeling beer. Highly recommended. Serving type: can 07-08-2011

12 oz can from Wilbur’s. Copper and clear with an off-white head and light lacing. Caramel malty aroma, bread, spices, light sweetness. Light to medium body with a creamy soft feel. Chocolate malty sweet flavor with caramel, vanilla and spices. A unique and very tasty summer ale.

Poured from the can, lots of foam on a almost clear, deep amber colored body. The aroma is caramel and cream. The taste is nice. A dark summer brew with moderate bitterness balance with some malt sweetness; with vanilla worked in nicely. The texture is smooth and soft with low carbonation. It’s a lighter ale but with good flavor.
