The refreshing tartness in this divine, bright golden-colored ale gives way to earthy undertones and hints of citrus followed by a slight sea salt-like dryness and tangy, effervescent finish.

Draft at Saraveza. Beige and hazy. It smells nutty wheaty good and salty sweet. The lively thirst quenching body enlivens and nourishes. It is hydrating and perfect, everything i look for in a gose. The underlying sweetness balances the salty fresh malt nom nom. Damn this is an impressive brew I could drink a lot of. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

12 oz. can. Pours a clear light gold with a 1" head that dissipates quickly. Flavor is mildly bready with moderate tart apple. Light body with effervescent carbonation. Finish is moderately tart and refreshing.

UPDATED: JUL 31, 2015 0.355 l can from P&M Getränke, canned in october 2014. Clear, pale golden yellow with a thin, frothy, quickly diminishing, white head. Sourish-fruity aroma of lemon, salt, gooseberry and wood. Sourish-fruity taste of lemon, salt, gooseberry and wood. Short, tart and rather salty finish. Thin body, spritzy and astringent mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Very refreshing, classic gose.

Cor dourada, turva. Espuma de baixa persistência. Aroma com notas de tempero e lúpulo. No paladar sementes de coentro e sal, tons marcantes do salgado e azedo. Diferente!!!

Light misty golden body. Sourish, fishy, hay... Hmm not sure about this. I generally like gose, but this is like a poor pale ale with added bacteria. Mild alcohol, lactic ending. Really misses the typical gose body with bready like character. (33cl can from Saveur Bičre)

355ml can bought at Craftissmo in Tsim Sha Tsui East.

Looks: Translucent dull golden yellow colour; Explosive two finger head (gushed out from the can!) with soapy white foam which last for 90 seconds; Fairly good sticky lacing with zero carbonation.

Aroma: Fairly fragrant light malt, with moderate wheat, faint tartness, salt, club soda, light floral, light lemon and sugar.

Taste: Light maltyness, with very strong tartness, fairy strong saltyness, wet cardboard, soda water, strong lemon, very light bitter hops and faint grass.

Body: Light body. Close to watery palate.

Mouth Feel: Very light malt base in thin and soda-ish background. Good mix of strong lacto-tartness and moderate sea salt. Quite tasty. Wet paper initially but gone as the beer warms. Strong lemon and almost no hops to round. Getting better as it goes.

Hoppiness: Light floral and light lemon in nose. Strong lemon and faint grass in taste. Bitterness is moderate, hidden inside the tartness for an abrupt, moderate bitter finish.

After Taste: Quite dry; Strong tart and nice salty to mouth.

Comments: This one is quite close to the style with tidbits of neat tricks - good looks and head and strong lemony hops aside. The lacto tartness and sea salt are just about right. Quite good already, and with a bit more weight and better hop characters, this will move up a level. Drinkable and Summer-bounded.

A 12 fl oz can poured into a pint glass. It poured a clear golden straw colour with a one finger white head that dissipated quickly. Aromas are mainly bready, tart, sour, lemon. There is also a slight dank finish. First a doughy malt flavour, followed by tart, lemon, sour and salt. Light to medium bodied with medium to high carbonation. This was not bad as the tartness is refreshing. It’s also easy to drink. However I tried the blood orange version first and easily prefer that over this one.

Golden yellow with a thin white head. Faint tart fruit aroma. Slightly sour. Slightly salty. Exactly what you want in a gose. Good for summer.
