I really like this IPA. It has a wonderful hoppy aroma and a bitter finish. Definitely has a bite to it.

Medium gold color, medium head. A Very hoppy IPA. Nice malts flavor. A medium bodied IPA. Nice flavor. Good balance. Mouthfeel is full and round. Finish is crisp and clean, very smooth. Aftertaste us bitter. Very nice IPA.
4.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20 uglybastard (101) - Riverside, California, USA - SEP 12, 2002
Copper brew with a big beautiful head sitting seductively on top. Beautiful, heavy lace on the glass. This beer begs to be partaken of. Strong hoppyness in the nose: typical grapefruit type smell but it also has, perhaps, a bit of cinnamon spicyness to the scent as well. Smooth and mellow when first tasted with a fruityness that fades toward to back into monster hop bitterness. I also seem to detect, toward the middle, a nice bit of bubble gum sweetness. Great IPA.
2.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20 Davhgbrew (418) - Boca Raton, Florida, USA - SEP 9, 2002
A very malty aroma, hoppy flavor, with a full body. Decent brew, but as weird as it for me to say this it’s too bitter. Not for me.
4.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 17/20 BeerLimey (2135) - California, USA - SEP 3, 2002
Top class IPA, lots of citrus and bitterness especially dry and bittering in the finish. High alcohol content also noticeable on palate. Fresh lemony hop aroma.

Nice and bitter as befits the style. Who forgot the malt? I detect some alcohol.

Not as hoppy as I’d like in an IPA, but maybe a good intro to IPA.
3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 mribm (427) - Hurley, New York, USA - AUG 30, 2002
UPDATED: OCT 27, 2007 Aroma - Hops and malt are both present in the nose, however I would have expected more in the way of hops. It also had a bread like smell to it.
Appearance - Poured a copper / amber color with a big frothy white head, which left ample lacing all the way to the bottom.
Flavor - Hops and biscuity malt, married together well, with the hops winning out in the finish.
Palate - Pretty smooth for an IPA. It had a good amount of carbonation from start to finish, yet not overly carbonated.
Overall - This was just a fair IPA, especially for the price ($10.99 a 6 pack). I would have liked more hops in it, however there was nothing offensive in the taste. It would make a good session beer if my last name was Rockefeller or Gates.
