A pretty good IPA, had an ’interesting’ flavor that i coudlnt quite figure out and not used to in an IPA. But overall a nice satisfying brew.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 15/20
Interesting orangy color, especially next to the much paler Bert Grant’s IPA I tried with it. Exquisitely soft in the mouth, which is a nice way to savor the big pine and pepper hop action. Not a whole lot else rising to meet those powerful hops, but sometimes they do the trick just fine on their own.

Oofa!!! I thought Acme was my fav but as I continue to expand on my brews I am always pleasantly surprised. Great head that sticks around until the chubby lady has her thang with us, beautiful fragrance and color. Lovely bouquet. Flavor...Oh mama, this IPA is so full of hops that you want to lick the wall to wipe it off of your tongue. I loved it and will get some more as soon as I’m done with this six. Great brew!!!!

I’m a very tough critic, but everything that Anderson Valley does seems to come out right. This IPA is clean, crisp - and unlike many IPA’s - leaves a jolt of flavor on the front of the tongue! Hops in balance with a light but distinct malt flavor - a symphony for the mouth! Kudos!

Nice tasty IPA... clean, refreshing, and nice finish... I was able to taste the hops minutes after. Great mellow bitterness that lingers in a good way.

by far my favorite ipa.I love hops and this one has them.large quantities of columbus. It has the right alcohol content for this style. It is very refreshing, not too bitter, not too sweet, just right. I strive to brew a batch this hoppy. Hop Ottin is the best!

Very crisp, tasty beer. The aroma was rather strange---like a hay of some sort.

3.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
The aroma is the only thing I have against this beer. This is not a distinct hop aroma, it smells like wet dog. The flavor does not disappoint, however. Nice hop balance for those of you who don’t like it overdone.
