Hop-Heads, your dreams have come true! Hop Ottin' is Boontling for "hardworking hops," and they're surely hard at work in this brew. Hop Ottin' starts with a strong floral aroma, which winds into a deep and complex body. In an intriguing balance, honey-drenched malts coat rich hop undertones. At length, the hops prevail, with a satisfyingly crisp finish. Hop Ottin' bites like a cankicky bluetail (Hop Ottin' bites like a rattlesnake looking for a fight.)

Nice deep orange color. Aroma: the smell is fruity and floral, citrus, some malts. Taste: very sweet and fruity with a good load of bitterness in the finish. Nicely balanced IPA

Crack the top off the can & pour it in the glass. It’s a deep orange with a beautiful rocky cap. What makes this IPA stand out from the numerous others that I am pounding back this holiday week -- all in the the name of research, not to worry -- is bait & switch it does on you. The taste opens with sweet malts & makes you think this is going to be a malt bomb IPA. But then just before the finish, a wave of hoppy bitterness washes over everything. My suspicion is that this can has been collecting dust on the shelf longer than it should & yet this is still a fantastic rendition of the style. Cheers.

Can bought at Seoul Plaza in Bratislava/Slovakia. A very tasty malty IPA with a lot of malt and fruit in aroma and taste. Tasty hops with a pleasant hoppy longlasting finish. Refreshing. Balanced. Anytime again!

Old rating. Bottle from old town. Nose is fruity with biscuity and sweet malty aromas present. There’s only a slight hint of resiny hops on the nose. Fairly sweet and malty with bits of pine coming out. Well-balanced though a little sweet. Reminds me of a British styled pale. Good stuff.

Bottle. very interesting IPA. Pours hazy dark orange with stable, medium, white head. Aromas not so typical for this style as red fruits and sticky caramel dominates the nose. There might be some grapefruit in the background but the beer resembles Belgian Triple a bit. The taste is also much on the sweet side with coniferous bitterness crawling in the background but of medium power. Sticky texture and medium to full body, yet not overpowering bitterness and good drinkability as a result. I’m not sure if this really suits the style but overall, it is a very good beer which I enjoy drinking so why not give it a try?

Dark orange colored body, medium sized white head, soapy lacing. Huge biscuit malt presence with some piney, citric, and resinous hop notes. Medium to full bodied with moderate carbonation, semi-sweet throughout, muddled bitterness.

Draught at Stone’s for Hop Leaf anniversary. Cloudy copper orange-brown. Smells fruity (grape, orange, apricot), caramel malt, bread, apple juice, piney deep hop. Tastes of dry, resinous, piney hop; pith, grass, dusty bready malt. Medium bodied. More sweet than I remember, but with plenty of resiny hop.
