Hop-Heads, your dreams have come true! Hop Ottin' is Boontling for "hardworking hops," and they're surely hard at work in this brew. Hop Ottin' starts with a strong floral aroma, which winds into a deep and complex body. In an intriguing balance, honey-drenched malts coat rich hop undertones. At length, the hops prevail, with a satisfyingly crisp finish. Hop Ottin' bites like a cankicky bluetail (Hop Ottin' bites like a rattlesnake looking for a fight.)

Honey aroma. Very low carbonation. Dry bitterness with some honey. Nothing that would make this IPA different. Just standard IPA.

Bevuta alla spina. Colore arancio con riflessi ramati, schiuma abbondante, molto corposa con sentori di biscotto e caramello, al gusto i malti della west coast la fanno da padroni. Persistenza molto lunga ma non fastidiosa

Pours a clear amber with a massive off white head that settles into a meringue cloud. Aroma is of big pine, citrus and grapefruit stands out. The taste has a great balance of pine, resin , caramel, sugar, and citrus. Has a dry light herbal finish with a medium body and low carbonation. This is very sessionable and has a great amount of comfortable bitterness. Right on the money.

Keg at Zly Casy with Ben & Pete. Pours Orange with a White head. Massive hoppy aroma. Nice balance of malty caramel and citrus hops. Leads to a dramatic bitter finish. Very nice indeed.

UPDATED: NOV 12, 2014 An underated favorite of mine. A classic IPA in the finest. Pine cedar citrus perfumey honey biscuit aroma leads into earthy classic west coast hopped caramel flavor that finishes dry with crisp balanced hoppiness. There is a reason this has stood the test of time in the ever changing competitive market of craft IPAs and carried on since the dawn of this style. This is the perfect IPA for CNY autumn to spring.

Ruby brown red colour, very clear with a beautiful white head and gentle bubbling. Smell is strong honey sweetness with some caramel, toffee apples, raisins and dark fruit, touch of salty breadiness, smells like a christmas cake. Taste is bitter watery and very refreshing. Bit of a heavy alcoholic sweetness balanced against hoppy bitterness. Peels, resin.

Tasted from bottle. Pours a hazy orange Amber with white head. Good lacing. Aroma is heavy on the malt side. Lots of caramel and biscuits. Some floral notes. Taste is pretty balanced. Earthy and floral hop flavors with a moderate malt sweetness of caramel, toffee, brown sugar. Don't really get any fruity or citrus notes. Above average ipa but not exceptional. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Jinkeys! One of the best damn IPAs I have had. To kick things off, it looks heavenly; essentially, this what I feel the style SHOULD look like. A very handsome and clean ruddy copper with only the slightest haze. A massive frothing whitecap crowns this gentleman. Herbal, floral and citrus hops, some juniper, light spiciness, honey and caramel treat both nose and tongue to a delightful sensory experience. Bittersweet perfection, neither hop nor malt takes the crown, instead an agreement to rise above the heap takes place resulting in a win for all involved. A mid-soft carbonated body with a light slickness make this a dream IPA for me.
