Hop-Heads, your dreams have come true! Hop Ottin' is Boontling for "hardworking hops," and they're surely hard at work in this brew. Hop Ottin' starts with a strong floral aroma, which winds into a deep and complex body. In an intriguing balance, honey-drenched malts coat rich hop undertones. At length, the hops prevail, with a satisfyingly crisp finish. Hop Ottin' bites like a cankicky bluetail (Hop Ottin' bites like a rattlesnake looking for a fight.)

UPDATED: AUG 14, 2014 Amber color with white well formed head. Aroma is fruity (lots of tropical fruits such as Mango), piny and hoppy, with herb and resin hints. Taste is much more as the aroma, with citrus, tropical fruits and hops. Sweet-bitter ending.

fruity and hoppy aroma with shades of pine, citrus and herbs... the taste is malty and, a little bit, fruity with notes of lemon, grasses and spices... rich hopping... dry bitter aftertaste... very nice IPA...

Pours deep amber with a light tan head with moderate retention and lacing. Hoppy nose. Spice, herbs and a touch of smoke flavors slightly overpower the malt, which is less sweet than many IPAs. Overall a solid IPA but a little lacking in balance. A bit more sweetness would help. Very good and worth a try but not spectacular.

650 ml bottle from Premier Wine and Spirits. Pours a murky orange with moderate-sized, lasting white head and decent lace. Aroma is on the mellower side at least compared to what I might have anticipated with some flowers, some caramel and a sort of minerally character. Flavour has solid floral hoppiness, some grassy and minerally character and a decent caramel malt backbone. Plus body. Nice but didn’t blow me away. I’d love to try really fresh.

Transfer from BA review on 9-18-12- Poured from bottle into pint glass Appearance – Pours a beautiful hazy amber orange color with a massive and rocky thick white head. The head had amazing retention, lasting for around 5 minutes. After slowly fading it heaves an incredible level of lacing. Smell – Big and fruity. Sweet aromas of a tangerine nature are mixed with some tropical smells of mango and pineapple. Mixed with these fruit smells are some light caramel notes as well as some citrus hop and a light herbal aroma. Overall the aroma is most delicious. Taste – The taste begins sweet and fruity with some lighter notes of citrus hop. The fruit flavors are as would have been surmised from the nose; a nice tangerine and mango. The citrus, while initially of a lemon and grapefruit nature, are upfront light but gains in strength toward the middle of the taste. All the while a lighter bready taste is present. More toward the end, the sweetness begins to fade with the hoppiness getting stronger and the breadiness remaining constant. The hop while growing stronger at the end ,brings on flavors of an earthy and grapefruit nature, which leave a bitter bite to linger on the tongue. Mouthfeel – The body of the beer is on the thicker and creamier side with a carbonation level that is average to a little bit below average. The creaminess is quite nice on the tongue and nice for both the sweeter fruit flavors initial to the taste as well as the bitter hop flavors that come at the end. Overall – The brew is a pretty nice IPA. Its look and aroma are incredible with a pretty nice flavor profile and feel. Some of the flavor transitions are a bit to abrupt, but beyond that it is really quite fantastic.

Hazy orange color, big white head that disappeared quickly. Lots of lacing. Medium to full body, soft carbonation. Pine and resin on the nose. Pine and grapfruit in taste. Medium sweet and medium bitter. Long bitter finish. Very good IPA.

Bottle Clear amber pour, frothy tan head. Nice and fruity hoppy Nose, same goes for taste. Pretty much what you'd expect, but less bitterness. Medium body, average carbonation:

In short: sweet hoopy beer. Soft hoppy and yeast aroma, pours dark brown with a white crown, taste is fruity to sour, the aftertaste is soft but an intriging mixture between malt and hops.
