4.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20 Stevesie (202) - - JAN 27, 2013From bottle. Hazy dark orange pour with minimal but lingering off-white head. Very nice lacing. Active carbonation. Lots of hops in the nose dominated by clean pine. Bitter throughout with just enough maltiness. Maybe a touch of grapefruit to add a little sweetness. Crisp, biting finish. Easily one of my favorite readily available beers, though I prefer the cans to the bottles.

Di colore arancio ramato, bel cappello di schiuma compatto nel bicchiere. Molto ben bilanciata con aroma citrico e resinoso. Gran bel finale per gli amanti del luppolo. Da provare per chi ama le IPA.

12 oz bottle, pours a orangish copper color with a thick fluffy white head that leaves good lacing. Smells of pine, citrus and caramel. Tastes of all the same thing’s in the smell with a slight honey flavor and a good hop bite in the back end. Mouthfeel is smooth and creamy with great carbonation. Overall this is one of the best balanced ipas I’ve had. As far as flavor goes it is pretty average.
3.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20 jimmytalent (39) - New York, USA - MAY 7, 2013
Pours a nice orange honey color with a light tan cap. Rich foam with hoppy goodness. Smell is faint hops and malt. Flavor... The name says it all. It is loaded with hops with notes of apple and toffee. I would definitely recommend HopOttin. It is very rich and bold. Worth the buy.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 Cirrhosis (1071) - Edmonton, Alberta, CANADA - MAY 6, 2013
Crystal clear copper with a very tall pillowy cap that leaves behind roapy lacing on every sip. Oooooooo that smells nice!! Hard lemon candy, earthy caramel, sponge toffee. The aroma is mellow yet full. Light but full taste. Caramel, big hops, peach, lemon, leather, lots of yum. So thirsty, so I’m drinking fast and forgetting to pay attention. Brew has a heavy sweetness that sneaks up on you. Why did I just smell popcorn? Easy to jug brew with no faults.

2.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 OKplus (355) - Oklahoma, USA - MAY 3, 2013
A - Pours a clear amber with a 1 finger off-white head that takes it’s time sinking. Thick sheets of lacing. Very good looking beer.
S - Floral hops, hints of grapefruit rind, yeasty, toasted malt.
T - Lots of floral and herbal bitterness right away. The hops have a salty wood character and are very dry. Faint notes of malt struggle to come out. The bitterness turns to grapefruit towards the end. Finishes crisp and dry.
M - Medium body and good amount of carbonation.
The herbal hops provide plenty of bitterness but little flavor. The malt is barely there and is crushed by the hops. Pretty unbalanced. If this had more flavor I would have rated it higher.

Pours copper orange with a beige frothy head. Sparce lacing. Aroma is yeast, honey, apple, grapefruit bread and pine. Flavor is apple and grapefruit with a light caramel/toffee malt hint for balance. Good beer, especially for the price.
