Hop-Heads, your dreams have come true! Hop Ottin' is Boontling for "hardworking hops," and they're surely hard at work in this brew. Hop Ottin' starts with a strong floral aroma, which winds into a deep and complex body. In an intriguing balance, honey-drenched malts coat rich hop undertones. At length, the hops prevail, with a satisfyingly crisp finish. Hop Ottin' bites like a cankicky bluetail (Hop Ottin' bites like a rattlesnake looking for a fight.)

Decent beer. Good amount of hops. Palate is a little destroyed but a good hop balance. Bitterness is the primary taste but also pine and citrus. Some decent maltiness.

355 ml bottle. Pours dark orange with an off-white head. Herbal aroma with a marked sweet note of honey. Medium to full body with soft carbonation. The taste is a little surprising pretty much malty sweetness and notable alcohol with a distinctive yet not unpleasant bitterness. Aroma of caramel and honey with some overripe fruits that a little bit lingering. Easily drinkable despite the alcoholic note but a little bit atypical.

Pours a cloudy orange with a decently sticky eggshell head. I am getting citrus with a hint of floral for aroma. So, with color and aroma I was expecting a bit more citrus flavor. I instead got a pine and resiny hops with a slightly sweet malt backing. The end has n...astringent? feeling. Sticky, but there is a sharp bitterness before that. It is not a bad beer, but I have been starting to go to more citrus styles lately.

Flesje gedeeld met familie. Oranjerood, helder bier met weinig schuim. Aroma en smaak zeer hoppig met een vleugje sinaasappel. Nasmaak is bitter.

Piney with some slight caramel notes. Feels more like an amber than an IPA. Decent but may not repeat too often. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

On tap @ Toronado Seattle. Pours slightly hazy dark orangish copper with medium off-white head that laces heavily. Aroma is light caramel malt, vegetal hops with faint floral tones. Taste is substantial medium roasty caramel malt, crisp piney hops on the back, finishes clean. Solid west coast IPA.

Can poured into a pilsner glass. Pours a cloudy golden amber with a huge off-white head. Smells strong of grapefruit with some sweet fruit. Tastes nice with a wonderful heavy hop bitterness in the finish, but seems to be trying a bit too hard. Overly tangy in the aftertaste. Slightly above average.
