thornecb (1054), Marblehead, Massachusetts, USA Apr 1, 2006 On tap. Pours gold into a shaker. Grapefruit and pine aromas. Nice lacing. Tastes like is smells -- light grapefruit and pine. Lingering bitter finish.
arondee (63), USA Aug 24, 2008 Poured a tan/orange color with a fluffy white head. Honey malt, and floral scents in the aroma. It’s bitter but not overly. Better than most IPA’s but it might be a little bitter for some people. DuffMan (1935), Calgary, Alberta, Canada Aug 24, 2008 Clear orange amber, orange-kissed puffy head. resinus hop aroma, citrus oils, sweet. sweet caramel malt platform with a mostly resinous, but also fruity hop character. Finish is long and bitter. 1010 (12), Marysville, Ohio, USA Aug 23, 2008 Pours a light tan color with a small white head. Has a hoppy aroma and taste, but not many layers. Would probably pass this up for other IPAs mabel (1633), Toronto, Ontario, Canada Aug 21, 2008 [1605-20080816] 355mL bottle. Aroma has a bit of citrus sweet lemon peel. Hazy, light brown orange body with quick white bubbles. Bit of hoppy grains flavour with some dark yeasty malt. Medium body. Good.
(@ Cole’s IPA Festival; Buffalo, NY) uhclem (120), Loveland, Colorado, USA Aug 21, 2008 Beautiful amber pour with a beige head and good lacing. Nose is a subtle mix of floral, pine and earth. At first taste, the malt comes out, but is rapidly enhanced by the hop bitterness. Mouthfeel is clean and silky and the finish has hops echoing down the throat. I may have found a new favorite (I don’t know how I’ll break the news to Titan).
