COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Hop-Heads, your dreams have come true! Hop Ottin' is Boontling for "hardworking hops," and they're surely hard at work in this brew. Hop Ottin' starts with a strong floral aroma, which winds into a deep and complex body. In an intriguing balance, honey-drenched malts coat rich hop undertones. At length, the hops prevail, with a satisfyingly crisp finish. Hop Ottin' bites like a cankicky bluetail (Hop Ottin' bites like a rattlesnake looking for a fight.)

Strong IPA here...near a double or imperial. Lots of hops and just enough sweetness from making it seem too bitter. Deep orange in the glass (nice looking stuff) and a pleasant floral aroma. Overall one of the better ones.

Orange copper colour with lots of head. Aromas of peaches, pine wood, resin and citrus fruits. Taste dominated by bitter hops with a little alcohol pushing through. Medium full body.

Color ámbar oscuro con espuma marfil densa, bien formada. Aromas cítricos y especiados. En boca es fresca y de densidad media-baja, con un amargor equilibrado cítrico y resinoso. En general, bastante buena.

Bottle: Pours a medium coppery orange color, with a small off white, thick, sticky head, leaving moderate to heavy lacing. Aroma is a gentle grapefruity bread. Flavor is bitter-sweet fruit. Pretty nice. Very drinkable.

June 2010. Bottle. Amber color with lots of pine, citrus and hoppy aromas. Malt, hop and tropical fruit flavors. Good one.

Clear dark amber with a foamy two-finger head and stripes of lace. Taste begins with a palate cleansing malt followed by citrus, especially grapefruit through the palate. The fruit grows to bitter hops by the finish, then lets go to reveal a hint of malt before all is over. It is interesting to have a beer so strongly assertive in hops, yet not overpowering enough to ruin the balance. An exceptional IPA.

On the orange side of amber, with a pillowy head that leaves nice lacing. Aroma is floral hops and some citrus. Flavor reveals citrus to be Meyer lemon and tangerines, with a bit of satisfyingly clean pine which doesn’t stick to the palate. Malt backbone is very grainy rather than rich or bready. I love this beer because it has the tasty aromatic hops and quenching bitter bite I want in a quaffable IPA without any of the stickiness that stongly hopped beers can exhibit, or the over-bitter syndrome of hops added at the wrong point in the boil. Yummy and very easy to drink.

Bit hazy amber with medium to thin fast disappearing off white head. Some lacing Aroma.. malty caramel, quite hoppy, kinda grapefruit, pine If nose says that this will be pretty much sweet, then tongue says its quite bitter.. would be nice if not so dry Its quite OK, but nothing special

Random bottle left over from a party. Nice! I think we had this on tap at some point at work, but whatever rating it now. Deep hazy copper pour with a solid foamy white head. Nose and flavor bring a well balanced IPA, with honey and molasses malt character underpinning but not overwhelming a nice combination of floral and citric hop bite. Smooth and drinkable for 7%. Solid.

Bottle to glass. Pours a clear deep amber color with a small off-white head. Heavy lacing left on glass. Aroma has hints of pine, mild citrus, and mild caramel. Mild alcoholic tinge as well. Taste is moderately bitter, but well balanced with a mild caramel sweetness. Mild bitterness lasting into finish. Medium body with small amount of carbonation. Very solid IPA.
