Belgian wheat beer aged in white wine barrels and allowed to become very slightly sour. This is a wonderful session beer for those of the ďsour and funkyĒ persuasion.

UPDATED: OCT 18, 2016 Medium sour smell, taste is a solid sour...quite strong when you don?t sip for a bit...good! Smooth and has some depth but not a lot...buttery finish

@Mellow Fellow - more than just a hint of sour, to the point Iíd class it as such. Wine and oak more than wheat, though still light and fairly refreshing. A little odd musty wheat tart finish.

Some light floral notes from the aroma. Quite taken aback with the first sip as I wasnít expecting the sourness. Itís not aggressive but clearly evident. Donít get much wheatiness at all. Seems more like a sour blonde. I do unfortunately get some butter notes. Makes me go back and forth on the score. I settled a little lower as a result.

On tap at Village Tavern. Very nice, mellow, soft, fuity, and a touch of sour. Very delicate, well balanced and quite well done.

Draft. Nose is faint lemon with some herbal notes. Hazy deep gold. Taste is quenching, spritzy grainy wheat with a citrus twist. Not very tart but just enough to dry it out and make it refreshing. Dang good.

Draft at Thirsty monk. Pours golden with an inch of white foam. Doesn't leave much lacing in the glass. Lovely white wine notes on the nose. Solid sour horse blanket notes combine with the white wine notes. Finished clean. Nice! ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Draft at Taps Beer Bar, Changkat, Kuala Lumpur. Poured a hazy reddish brown with a thin broken white head. The aroma is acid citrus. The flavour is light sour with a crisp, light, grainy fruit, light vinous, light dough biscuit palate. Medium bodied with average carbonation. A fine session "sour". So much better than I expected.

Draft to taster at Ei8ht Ball from notes. Pours a hazy orange amber color with a small off white head. The aroma and flavor have pale wheat malts, tart citrus, some funk, oak, a shot of white wine spritzer, ok soft sour.

Draft. Poured hazy dark amber color with an average frothy off-white head that mostly lasted with fair lacing. Moderate wheat and sour yeast aroma. Medium body with a smooth texture and soft carbonation. Medium sour flavor with a medium sour finish of moderate duration. Good drinkable beer.

Draft at Ei8ht Ball, served in a flight. Pours a cloudy orange with a hint of red and a small white ring that lasts quite a while. Notes of vanilla, stone fruit, oak, brown sugar, fruity funk, wheat, and a bit of earth. Medium-bodied, with moderate carbonation and a tangy, sour, sweet mouthfeel. Should definitely be reclassified as a sour/wild ale, but Iíll leave that up to the California admins.
