COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Belgian wheat beer aged in white wine barrels and allowed to become very slightly sour. This is a wonderful session beer for those of the “sour and funky” persuasion.

Draft at Capone’s: Aroma of wheat, hop citrus, light spice, and a hint of Brett. Poured amber/gold in color with a small, creamy, loose, off-white/tan head that lasted throughout. Clear. Extremely slightly sparkling. Good lacing. Flavor is medium sweet and funky. Tastes of sweet fruit, funk, grain, citrus, a hint of Brett, and yeast. Light to medium body. Thinish, dry texture. Soft carbonation. Lightly sweet, funk, grain, yeast finish is dry.

Cloudy straw yellow in color... Aroma of sour lemons... Flavor is light and wheaty with distinct sourness and notes of lemon... Definitely must have been fermented with Brett... Interesting beer

16 ounce sample on tap at the Davis Graduate. Wow...either the lines are dirty, or there is a lot of intentional Brett in this beer. Somehwat lemony aroma with funky barnyard Bretty notes are present. Transparent golden body with a small white head present. Funky, Bretty slightly tart/sour start, which then has some lemony wheat malt chewiness in the middle. Finishes with more Brett tartness. Super funky. Not sure how much I like this, though. Definitely was not expecting this out of this beer (I had no description)

Sampled today at the brewhouse. Supposedly this is a barrel of wheat beer that was forgotten and found by a horse in their barn. It is a wheat beer that has been aged way too long. It is really sweet but has good wheat complexities. Good brew, worth a try but probably wont be around long.

FROTHINGSLOSH (4909) - GREENSBURG, Pennsylvania, USA - DEC 21, 2013
Sampled on draft at the House of 1000 Beers this beer poured a very bright golden color with a small foamy white head that faded quickly but left decent lacing. The aroma was tart and sour with notes of yeast and oak. The flavor was tart and sour with notes of citrus, yeast, pepper, wildflowers and oak. Medium length tart and sour yeast and wildflower finish. Medium body. Meh.
