COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Belgian wheat beer aged in white wine barrels and allowed to become very slightly sour. This is a wonderful session beer for those of the “sour and funky” persuasion.

On draft at The Local Beer Bar in Eureka, CA. This came in the glass a cloudy golden color. White head. Good lacing. Nose of wheat, citrus hops and some spicess. Medium in body. Smooth mouthfeel. As it warms you get lots of flavor... with fruit and citrus. Dry and sour finish. Very nice.

Pours a clear golden yellow with big fluffy white head that leaves moderate lace. Aroma is nice wheat malt with a hint of sour funk and musty grapes. Taste is more toward the funk and a nice balance of sour and wheat. Good carbonation, solid beer.

Pouring at EBF 2015. Pours a clear orange amber with a thin white head. Soft musk, brett on the nose. Medium bodied, bretty. Tangy wheat, grapes, wood, brett.

Draft at Capone’s. Chill hazy canary colored with 1-finger creamy white head. Nose is hopcitrus, sour mashy fruit, pale malt, lactobacillus. Tastes tart, citric, with hops, pale malt, and funky yeasty spice. Palate is rich and smooth, with a lemony and funkier finish. A very good beer from AV.

On tap at Beercraft. Pours pumpkin with a light tan head. Aroma is a little funky and horsey, dust and lemon candy. Flavor offers rough grainy notes along with a mild sourness. Better than expected for AV.

Draft. Nose is faint lemon with some herbal notes. Hazy deep gold. Taste is quenching, spritzy grainy wheat with a citrus twist. Not very tart but just enough to dry it out and make it refreshing. Dang good.

Draft. Poured hazy dark amber color with an average frothy off-white head that mostly lasted with fair lacing. Moderate wheat and sour yeast aroma. Medium body with a smooth texture and soft carbonation. Medium sour flavor with a medium sour finish of moderate duration. Good drinkable beer.
