True to its Boontling moniker, “Huge Arker” is a massive force of nature that detonates on your tongue. After primary fermentation, the beer is aged in Wild Turkey® Bourbon barrels until it fully matures. The deep mahogany color is evocative of the opulence to follow. Dark luscious aromas of burnished oak mingle with candy sugar, bourbon and hearth-baked bread. The luxurious flavors redolent of honey and molasses are intertwined with the richness of dark chocolate and the ardent warmth of alcohol, underpinned with hints of coffee, vanilla and dark fruits.
ABV from 11% to 13.5% in 2014.

bomber from local store. Pours deep dark brown with solid mocha head. Aroma is roasty dark chocolate malt, boozy heavy sweet bourbon on the back. My favorite style, but slightly sharp and boozy on the palate.

Rating #1243 - 05.09.2014 - Bottle from CBI. Black as the desert 10 minutes after sunset.. Aroma is heavy roast malt, espresso, molasses, oak. Taste is heavy on roast malt and coffee flavours, lots of burnt sugar, toffee, bourbon vanilla, blackstrap molasses. For 13% the alcohol burn is present, but less pronounced - very well rounded. Phenomenal.

This is a monster beer. Nose of whiskey and chocolate. Bomber pour at home. Bottle given to me by Kaser. Pours black wig a thick tan head that stays a while. Boozy whiskey bite. Not bad

Bomber from Hayduke that we had together via facebook chat. A big tan head falls very slowly. A big nose of bourbon and barrel. Vanilla. Big, boozy, and complex. The flavor is, too. So much bourbon in there. Alcohol, too. This one is hot! At some point burnt brown sugar appeared and after that chocolate. And then fruit that is surprisingly soft and pleasant. But throughout that alcohol cannot be ignored. It is the 800 pound gorilla in this beer. I like everything about this except for that. Lots of really good flavors. But there is that gorilla.

This was shared with Strykzone on Facebook Chat. Pours a very dark brown nearly black with a foamy tan head. Nose is bourbon first, with chocolate, vanilla, dark ripe fruit, and what I think is oak. Full bodied enough but somehow I expect more in an Imperial stout. The mouth feel has a lot of alcohol burn. Too much I am afraid. The flavor has chocolate, vanilla, oak ripe fruit,, and of course the Wild Turkey. Did they forger to totally empty the barrel? Would be really really good except for the excess alcohol . A sipper for sure.

Draught. A black beer with a small brown head. The aroma is of roasted malt, molasses, bourbon. A thinner body than one would expect for a beer like this, but good roasted malt flavour and the bourbon crashes in with a heavy presence. A lingering aftertaste of vanilla and bourbon.

Bottle - pours pitch with a tan head. Aroma is vanilla and malt. It hides the alcohol well. The aging in whiskey barrels dominates the underlying stout. Overall, it’s tasty.

Bottle from Wegmans mechanicsburg. Pours black with a half inch of khaki head. Leaves a lot of lacing in the glass. Massive bourbon notes on the nose. Huge booze on the tongue along with the bourbon. Finish lingers a bit. You definitely know it's nearly 14 on the tongue. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bomber from Woodmans in Waukesha, cellar aged 6 months and shared by all at the 4th family get-together. Black pour with no head. Nose has vanilla, caramel, some chocolate. Ttaste is choco/caramel/vanilla. Light bourbon tang. Finished longer than expected, led by the vanilla. Solid although not impy stout-ish. 14.7
