COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Hop-Heads, your dreams have come true! Hop Ottin' is Boontling for "hardworking hops," and they're surely hard at work in this brew. Hop Ottin' starts with a strong floral aroma, which winds into a deep and complex body. In an intriguing balance, honey-drenched malts coat rich hop undertones. At length, the hops prevail, with a satisfyingly crisp finish. Hop Ottin' bites like a cankicky bluetail (Hop Ottin' bites like a rattlesnake looking for a fight.)

Can, clear copper hue with lasting creamy off white head, good lacing, light sweet hop aroma, some floral and a decent amount of honey, very drinkable, nothing too special, more on the sweet side rather than citrus, much like Bells Hopslam

Draft at Dexters. Filtered looking golden-amber. Massive steady off-white head. Astringent lemon citrus aroma. Smooth and fresh, somewhat doughy body. Somewhat soapy. Hop characted isn’t super defined, but certainly quite present. Nice.

Bottle from Appellation Wines. Reddish amber brown colour, good head. Sweet resin hop aroma. Slightly smokey woody fruity flavour. Lingering resinous aftertaste. Decent IPA.

12fl.oz. bottle. Hazy orangish colour with a creamy, frothy, nice lasting and off-white head. Aroma is fruity, hoppy, moderate malty. Flavour is moderate malty, hints ofpeaches are present, strong bittery and final maintaining the initial bitterness. Carbonation is medium. Body is medium.

Pours amber with a large, lasting head. Nose shows caramel, pine, resin and spicy hops. Somewhat faint for an IPA though. Flavours are more aggressive, if not more complex. Lots of resin and caramel, followed by a bold bitterness. Could use a lighter body, feels syrupy.

Medium to dark maple amber with a great retentioned mocha colored head. Strong aroma of herbal, fruit hops light fig and caramel with a touch of yeast. flavs of herbal light Zesty and dry hops with a light caramel backed balance. Lightly sweet with a bitter finish. More upscale the nose but more average on the palate.

From the 12oz bottle purchased at The BeerHive in Pittsburgh. Very high marks and a fond regard for this exceptional IPA from Anderson Valley. Sticking your nose into the lofty head results in some strong but very pleasant aromas following with a smooth, sweet freshness in the taste. Crisp, without being overdone on anything, make this one to remember and seek again.
