Can from Whole Foods. Pours clear gold with 1-finger frothy off-white head. Nose is pale malt, resiny hops. Tastes ale malty, with piney hops, black peppery spice, and a watery finish.

Can. Soapy, piny nose, fresh and strong with resin and a touch of citrus. Dull golden with slow, minimal carbonation and foamy beige head. Taste sweet and much more citric, especially lemon, and extremely woody throughout, impressively for something so light, just dank CTZ. Light and watery body, not crisp but refreshing indeed, cleans the palate. Dries somewhat by the end, weak caramel, and a surprising mineral/salty finish. I’d have again, pretty good daily gulp.

Pours a finger of foamy head on a hazy straw colored body. The aroma is bright orange, lemon and grapefruit. The taste is mild lemon bitterness at first, slight honey sweet in the middle, finishes with a mild dry bitterness. Nice and easy. The texture is crisp with soft edges. Tasty for a "session" or otherwise.

12oz can from Kroger in Grandview. Gold pour with a white head. Aroma of citrus peel, earthy, floral. Tastes are along those lines with pine, citrus, touch of caramel, little tea vibe.

12oz can from Total Wine, Sacramento. Pours cloudy golden with a huge white head and a fruit and toffee aroma. There is a light-bodied pale malt flavor with a slightly bitter finish/

a little too heavy on the biscuit malt for me to consider a standout. Otherwise a nicely balanced and fine tuned sessionable pale ale. Light but not watery, fairly fruity with citrus and hints of tropical and floral notes as well.

It’s sessionable, but not shy on hop content. Soft gold in color with a head that resembles a brown recluse’s nest, it looks harmless. It has a pleasant, grainy and sweet aroma with really nice notes of spruce and limes. I’m very glad that this pale ale actually smells like hops. The first thing you notice about the beer in the mouth is its softness, then a pilsener-like maltiness and extremely light palate - so light that you can taste its barely caramelized malts. Although this has a really nice hop nose, the hops are present but tame in the mouth, and dissipate quickly. Well, at least until its clean finish, when a little hop flavor joins a touch of bitterness. It is a very sessionable ale, and the nice bitter punch in the finish is enough to make you keep drinking it (quickly).

Can into a glass. Pours a golden hay with a persistent, fluffy white head. Aroma is piney, grass, light sweet cereal. Taste is assertively bitter with a pleasant fresh pine and citrus punch. Slight sweetness. Dry finish. Overall tons of flavor for a sessionable pale ale. Feel like this one is way underrated and would probably be more hyped if marketed as a Session IPA. Very similar to Founders All Day.

can offering..pours a golden color with slight head..nose is slight vegetal...bit of lemon...light bodied with not much complexity..has a little of that malty trademark characteristic of some of their other offferings..best thing going on here is some pretty good lacing..otherwise a fairly bland pale ale with not character behind it....
