New Year’s Eve tasting Flight (1 of 3 7:19p) - bottled. Large foamy head. Leaving fair amount of lacing as it collapses. Dark brown, nearly opaque body when held up to a lamp. Light aroma of pumpkin spices. Most dominant flavor is vanillas from the barrel aging. Backbone of spices. Fairly clean palate. Not a lot of pumpkin to it. But, perhaps that’s what makes it better than some pumpkin brews I’ve had. Might be good to try this to see if it mellows with age.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Brown pour with a finger of off-white foam. Lots of bourbon vanilla, to the point the pumpkin and spices are almost lost. Good but not very "pumpkin beer". How many of these did they drink before coming up with the name?

3.3 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Bottle. Aroma is bourbon barrel but flavor is not. Bit thin. Pumpkin is faint. I like it but not sure advertised correctly.
