22oz bottle 4/12/15 (Binnyís Downers Grove)-38į in Shaker-Pours a dark orangish amber with a decent off white head. Aroma of pumpkin, spices, and bourbon. Taste of the same with some caramel coming in. This medium bodied brew is not bad as I was expecting more as it being barrel aged.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Bomber. Orange brown with a huge beige head. Whiskey, tart apple, butterscotch, nutmeg and gourd. Tastes sweet, lightly tart and finishes dry. Foamy feel with a medium body. I had high hopes of the perfect fall/thanksgiving beer and itís not that, but itís not terrible either- just a little weird.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle, shared with phantomhennes, heavylaevy, and TvM. Dark orange amber. Bourbon and pumpkin, sweet caramel malts and fall spices make for quite a sweet drinking experience. Not bad but glad I shared it.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
On tap at beermongers. Pours a dark red brown color with a small white head. A big spicy pumpkin nose. Sugary, odd alcohol flavor, pumpkin, spices, malty sugary base. Ok.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle... Pours hazy and brown with copper highlights and a mid-sized, creamy, cappuccino head. Good retention. The aroma is malty and spicy - caramel, buttery toffee, brown-sugar crystals and lots of holiday spice-rack goodies and a modest lactic acid component that leads to a dead end as far as possible infection goes. Nothing else here is off. Full-bodied and lightly oily with airy carbonation. The flavor is mildly sweet and super malty with minerals and mild, balancing, crusty bitterness with soft tannins. Iím getting no Wild turkey or any other bourbon here. There are also some nice toffee, vanilla and caramel notes. Finishes with lightly sweet toffee, vanilla and minerals.

3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bomber. Buttered rum aroma with light notes of pumpkin, pumpkin pie spices and vanilla. Pours cloudy, amber colored with a thin tan head with decent retention and very little lacing. Starts with the buttered rum flavor and light vanilla notes. Finishes smooth with good pumpkin and clove flavors. Interesting brew.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Extremely extremely unique beer. Literally every person (6) at our pairing dinner said "Wow!!!" Out loud. It has a really buttery smell. It tastes like buttered rum except whiskey with a little bit of lemon. The most unique beer I have tasted in a while if not ever.

Another great Anderson Valley beer. Pours a beautiful deep red with a grey head. Smells amazing, of buttered rum, vanilla and a bit of pumpkin. Taste is super buttery and lemon, whiskey and vanilla. Finishes boozy. Had in the bottle.

0.8 AROMA 1/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 1/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 1/20
Tap: Deep brown body, cloudy. Thin khaki film spreads across the top, tiny outlining collar. Aroma is a shit sandwich. Overly sweet vanilla extract, tart redcurrant & prune, abrasive pumpkin-like spices, stale popcorn kernels, boozy butterscotch, wood, ass. Dafuq is this shit. Taste is even worst. Stale, rotten pumpkin, heavy ginger & clove to the point of being annoying, sickeningly sweet vanilla extract, far too heavy on the booze, wood, & butterscotch notes. Again with that shitty burnt popcorn flavor. This beer sucks ass. Could not take more than a few sips, absolute dumpster fire.
