COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Poleeko Pale Ale is an exceptionally flavorful and well-balanced beer. With a bright, citrus hop profile and mild malt flavors reminiscent of English biscuits, the aromas of pink grapefruit and lemon zest compliment the brisk, balanced finish to create a truly refined American Pale Ale.

MALTS: Pale Two-Row, Crystal (40L)
HOPS: Columbus, Nugget, Cascade

Note: Formerly Poleeko Gold Pale Ale.

UPDATED: MAY 3, 2015 Orange colored beer with a fast disappearing white foam. The beer is more cloudy, than most Pale Ale’s. The smell is very nice. It is sweet and had a nice lemony character coused by the Cascade hop. The smel is somewhat fresh, and reminds me of a sunny day in May. The taste is a little less than the smell. In the back of the tongue there is s bitter taste. The fresh citrusy aroma of the Cascade hop went to the background. The herbal aroma’s of the Columbus and Nugget hop are more present in the taste. The beer is nice in the mouth, it has a lively carbonation. Over all, a nice beer.

2015-04-25 - A nice looking beer in a beautiful bottle, but not with a great taste. Certainly not bad either.

J’apprécie décidément beaucoup le travail de cette brasserie. Sans grande démonstration, mais avec justesse. C’est le cas ici pour cette bière qui sous des allures sages sait être désaltérante et déploie une amertume acidulée d’une délicate complexité

Drank with Dave while watching Utopia. This beer was not very special. It tasted like an ordinary Jupiler Pilsener (including the slightly unpleasant bitterness), but then with some hints of hop and fruitiness.

12fl oz at home from Bert’s Bierhuis Biltstraat, Utrecht. Body is clear to opalescent yellow golden, tiny particles, head is medium, white, fizzy, average lasting, good lacing. Nose is tropical fruits, chlorine, flavor is fruity, spices, grapefruit, herbs, bread. Medium sweet, medium bitter, light chemical sour. Finish is long lasting hoppy bittersweet, later more hoppy, strange but not bad chemical side taste. Medium body, thin texture, average carbonation. Easy, refreshing, interesting.
