COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Poleeko Pale Ale is an exceptionally flavorful and well-balanced beer. With a bright, citrus hop profile and mild malt flavors reminiscent of English biscuits, the aromas of pink grapefruit and lemon zest compliment the brisk, balanced finish to create a truly refined American Pale Ale.

MALTS: Pale Two-Row, Crystal (40L)
HOPS: Columbus, Nugget, Cascade

Note: Formerly Poleeko Gold Pale Ale.

Troebel geel bier met weinig schuim. Smaak is goed hoppig bitter en fris zuur fruit, citrus en grapefruit. Smaak blijkt redelijk lang hangen. Drinkt makkelijk weg.

Van de appie. Mooi dik schuim, goude kleur. Ruikt heerlijk fruitig, citrus. Bittere smaak, met een zoetje. Niet helemaal mijn ding.

19/IV/15 - 33cl bottle from Albert Heijn (Gent) @ home - BB: 24/XII/15 (2015-453)

Clear pale orange beer, irregular white head, pretty stable, bit adhesive. aroma: fruity, grapefruit, some citrus, bit malty, pineapple. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: fruity hops, bit grassy, very malty, slightly sweet, floral touch. Aftertaste: pretty bitter, grassy, citrus, little sweet, some honey.

Good carbonation. Light beer. Easy drinking. Mediocre aroma. If you like hoppy beer that’ll still drink easy as hell; this is a good one. To me, tastes just like a decent Pilsener but instead of classic hops, a nice and light American hop flavour.

0,355 l bottle ( american measurements ... ). The smell is really weird. Looks are quite nice both the beer as the bottle. Taste starts like ipa but less heavy bitterness. Ends with a long citrus aftertaste with some sweet notes.

UPDATED: MAY 3, 2015 Orange colored beer with a fast disappearing white foam. The beer is more cloudy, than most Pale Ale’s. The smell is very nice. It is sweet and had a nice lemony character coused by the Cascade hop. The smel is somewhat fresh, and reminds me of a sunny day in May. The taste is a little less than the smell. In the back of the tongue there is s bitter taste. The fresh citrusy aroma of the Cascade hop went to the background. The herbal aroma’s of the Columbus and Nugget hop are more present in the taste. The beer is nice in the mouth, it has a lively carbonation. Over all, a nice beer.

2015-04-25 - A nice looking beer in a beautiful bottle, but not with a great taste. Certainly not bad either.

J’apprécie décidément beaucoup le travail de cette brasserie. Sans grande démonstration, mais avec justesse. C’est le cas ici pour cette bière qui sous des allures sages sait être désaltérante et déploie une amertume acidulée d’une délicate complexité
