12oz bottle. Mostly clear golden color. Nice thin white head, leaving good lace. Nice hoppy taste - kind of herbal, with a bit of metallic. Tasty, satisfying bitterness. Lighter carbonation. Very dry texture. Good, longer bitter hop aftertaste. Satisfyingly hoppy pale ale.

I find this bland and unsatisfying. The beer is bitter in a non-hoppy way, and has little aftertaste.

Nice fresh aromatic nose. Poured with a big head (though could have been my gumby pour). Quite a dry bitter ale which is pleasant to drink.

66 cl bottle @ Timo A.
Rated on 20110627.
Pours clear golden color with minimal head. Aroma of dry hay, lots of fruits and some resin. Just optimally hopped. Flavor of dry and bitter fruits, apricot and peach mainly. Mildly bitter palate with a dry finish. Well balanced and bitter APA.

Blond colour with a creamy head. Floral hop aroma. Initially sweet this becomes very refreshing and has a clean hoppy taste.

Picked up a bomber bottle from Bevmo in San Diego, California, and tasted from a tulip glass. I was surprised how inexpensive this beer was, but I really enjoy the Anderson Valley Hop Ottin IPA, so I figured I’d give this one a shot too. It pours a golden yellow color with a fairly large fluffy white head that leaves moderate lacing. Actually, it’s a nice-looking beer. Aromas are of tangy, sweet lemon, and flavors are really fruity as well, but with tea-like undertone, and a long, lingering bitterness in the finish. Body is fairly light, with a soft-feeling carbonation. The bitter finish is maybe a little more sharp and one-dimensional than I would like, but overall, this is a pretty tasty and drinkable beer. Not amazing, but decent.

Draught at Ölrepubliken, Göteborg, Sweden. Clear deep golden, medium creamy white head. Earthy malt aroma with some orangey hops. Light to medium bodied, medium carbonation. Dry with medium bitterness. Quite dull.
