3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 Glouglouburp (4772) - Montreal, Quebec, CANADA - JUL 21, 2011
In short: A blonde summer thirst quencher.
How: Tap at Rattle ’N’ Hum, NY
The look: Clear blonde body topped by a small white head
In long: The moderately hoppy nose is a bit grapefruits and a bit floral. Taste crisp honeyed cereals, sandy grapefruity hops, notes of fresh pineapples and dried bananas, minerals sensation, low bitterness level, dry finish. There was nothing remarkable in this beer but it is nonetheless the type of beer I could drink gallons of. Drinkability is obviously what this beer is aiming for. It was a very hot day and this ordinary smooth pale ale was exactly what I needed. Overall I thought this was a rather ordinary American Pale Ale yet I could have drank 6 pints of this in a row. Some days I feel like I’m a drunk trapped in a an even drunker body.

Quite fresh and fruity aroma with peach. Mouthfeel is quite thin. Refreshing and pleasant taste consists of some exotic fruits and peaches. Slightly too sweet on some sips, but otherwise enjoyable drink for a summer day.
