3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
The beer looks like any other of many pale ales head is good sized and long lasting.
Rather nice hoppy aroma .
The malts are to the fore in the first sip..but soon the hops take over..pretty good..again its that floral accent that I find in other Anderson Valley beers.
Nice flavourful brew..above average.

Gold like the name would suggest. Very hoppy. Pretty grainy with good malts for balance. Finishes pretty clean.

2.9 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Not bad. Pours a light gold color, not much aroma. Not my favorite style of beer, but drinkable none the less.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 11/20
Cloudy appearence like a hefe with a moderate size head. Has the grainy hop taste I like, but is not as complex as I love.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
On the pour a transparent golden color, the head prodigious in size, spumescent in texture and bright white in color, as it erodes a fine coating of lace is left behind to seal off the glass. Malt dominates the crisp and fresh nose, a tad citrus like, quite pleasing to the senses. Start is malt sweet, the top middling in its feel, with the finish moderately carbonated, the hops spiteful in their bite, quite dry and long lasting aftertaste, a quite decent Pale Ale for a desert afternoon.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
This brew poured a humongous head of fine to large sized white mostly lasting bubbles and a hazy light yellow brown colored nearly uncarbonated body. It had a foamy mouthfeel with an initial hop bite that smoothened in the finish.. Its medium malt hop flavor was typical of a plae ale. It was in all aspects typical except for its hazy body which was more like a witbier.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
This beer poured an invigorating white glass full of foam that mostly diminished. The head consisted of fine-large sized bubbles. The body was hazy and there was carbonation observed. The hue was yellow-gold and there was very little lacing with this beer. The nose was hoppy and sweet and the flavor was bitter, hoppy and it had an aftertaste that lingered. The mouthfeel was tingly, smooth, thin, watery and light-medium bodied.
