Poleeko Pale Ale is an exceptionally flavorful and well-balanced beer. With a bright, citrus hop profile and mild malt flavors reminiscent of English biscuits, the aromas of pink grapefruit and lemon zest compliment the brisk, balanced finish to create a truly refined American Pale Ale.

MALTS: Pale Two-Row, Crystal (40L)
HOPS: Columbus, Nugget, Cascade

Note: Formerly Poleeko Gold Pale Ale.

Bottle. Pours darker golden in color with a small head. There’s some citrus, sweetish honey and hints of malt in aroma. More bitter in taste, grapefruit but there’s also some softer fruitier notes present.

Golden yellow body with a finger of white long lasting foam. Some grass aroma, lemon, grapefruit. The taste is of lemon, a hint of bitterness, a little pineapple, all very light but rounded. Low carbonation. A great session beer. Very summery.

Bottle at the Londoner Brewpub, Bangkok. Poured a crystal clear straw colour with a thin broken white head. The aroma is light citrus hop. The flavour is medium to strong bitter with a big hop bitter light dry spice light toothpaste palate and a lingering bitter finish. Medium bodied with average carbonation. Served cool & it certainly quenched my thirst. Perhaps a little too hoppy for a pale ale but well drinkable.

Bottle. Sweet, red grapefruit aroma, mixed with some resin and elderflower floral notes. Additionally, there are notes of very ripe, sweet black- and blueberries. And there you have it - forest fruit, resin - this evokes images of a coniferous forest rather than the tropics. Really awesome. Perhaps if those berry notes could be more present in the flavour, then this could be an almost unbeatable APA, but as it is, it does not fail to deliver. Very drinkable, balanced, flavourful and soft in the mouth. Restrained bitterness, a body that is more full than in many style counterparts, and just a tiny drop of sweetness. One of the top APA’s out there.

355 ml bottle @ Naamat
White golden clear beer with big white head leaving lacing. Mild aroma with some pineapple and malts. Flavor is dry, malty, grassy, metallic and herbal. Has a bite of bitterness on the finish, leaving dry malty aftertaste. Thinner than medium palate with medium carbonation. Resembles weirdly a pils, not very refreshing.
