COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Poleeko Pale Ale is an exceptionally flavorful and well-balanced beer. With a bright, citrus hop profile and mild malt flavors reminiscent of English biscuits, the aromas of pink grapefruit and lemon zest compliment the brisk, balanced finish to create a truly refined American Pale Ale.

MALTS: Pale Two-Row, Crystal (40L)
HOPS: Columbus, Nugget, Cascade

Note: Formerly Poleeko Gold Pale Ale.

Itís been a while since Iíve rated a pale ale, and I was actually surprised that I hadnít rated this one already. Clear golden color with a rocky white head. Aroma is grass, bread, and a bit of lemon. The flavor is nice and full, crisp bitterness. I think this oneís a bit underrated, it has a big flavor and makes a great session ale.

Bright Amber and heady. Aroma of sweet orange citrus, malt and floral hops. Taste is the same leaning on the sweet side. Though some citrus coming through in the finish. Enjoyable but not as good as the other i have tried.

pours a honey color with a two finger fluffy off white head. aroma is hops, malt, and a little medicine or band-aid like. has a medium body with lacing that follows the liquid and good carbonation. flavor is the same as aroma with some orange peel and pine. has a somewhat oily mouth-feel, but the medicine/ band-aid taste is a little annoying. has a small dry hop aftertaste and i would say this is an average apa there is definitely better out there.

Draft at Deweyís Pizza in Clifton. Light amber color, ample head with good retention, mild hoppy/ citrus aroma, sensation of assertive but not overbearing hops with a hint of grapefruit coating the tongue like pure maple syrup on pancakes. Decent brew.

Citrusy, bitter, dry Pale Ale. Unusual taste and flavor. Not exactly what I expected. Salty, bit of honey flavor with good kick of hops.

Bottle: Gold color - imagine that. Nice white head. Has pretty much the same hop character as the Hop Ottin'. This is a very good thing in my opinion. It seems to be almost a smaller version of the Hop Ottin'. Or maybe Hop Ottin' is just a bigger version of this?

A disappointing effort from a good brewery. Too astringent for a pale ale. Skip it and go to the PNW for real pale ales.

Thick fluffy white head. Citrus aroma. Fairly hoppy with a sweet malty flavor. Pretty good, nothing special but cant complain when drinkin this.

Pale golden with a HUGE frothy head, even with a careful and easy pour. Big on hops for such a light tasting beer. Plenty of grassy and piney notes in aroma and flavor. Not much malt to counter though. A good session beer, but nothing more exciting than that.

Pours a pale amber with thick creamy head and foamy lacing. Strong note of pine with a hint of hay. Bitter taste with a long finish. Crisp and dry.
