3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
A nice, not too hoppy pale. I’ve not had many CA pales, but reminds of WA/OR styles. Easy to drink, and not bitter.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Golden, burnt orange color that was somewhat cloudy with a huge white fluffy head with great retention and very nice lacing. The head stayed with the beer most of the way down the glass. Nice fresh floral hops in the nose. Picking up hints of the grapefruit/citrus and also getting a pleasant "toasty", "biscuity" aroma. Very well balanced. Nothing overpowering, but nice enough to temp me. In the taste, I picked up the grapefruit/citrus, but it was mild. Breadiness was there with an unmistakable bitterness. The hops were not over the top and balanced well with the remaining flavors. Medium to light, dry, crisp mouthfeel. Coates the palate nicely. Doesn’t really hang around as long as some others, but does stay around long enough for me to savor it. As the beer warmed the mouthfeel became ever so slightly watered. Nice little brew here. Very solid. Easy drinking and worth a try in my opinion. Another beer that would pair well with a fresh Spring or early Summer day. It goes down way easy.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
This stuff pours like a Belgian tripel! It took 3 times to fill my pint glass all the way, overflowed and almost fried my computer. Anyway it smells very floral. Tastes much like it smells only with more of a citrus quality. Pretty clean and refreshing, but nothing too spectacular.

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Golden, slightly unclear. An easily drinkable American pale ale, perhaps missing a bit in aroma. Slightly crude aftertaste.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
More hops in the aroma than I expected from a canned beer. Golden yellow, thin white head, medium carbonation. Piney and floral at the same time, with citrus. Fairly straight forward session beer, but with a surprisingly dry finish.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Aroma: Just the right amount of (Cascade?) hops making me want to take a big whiff :0)
Appearance: Brilliant Pale Gold with a huge white head
Flavor: For a Pale Ale, this a very simple very drinkable beer with smooth mellow maltiness with a nice hoppy bite
Palate: Starts with a touch of malt and finishes dry making way for another pint...
Overall: A delightful Pale Ale, Simple, drinkable and enjoyable ... perfect for bright sunny day!!!

2.8 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
from a can, pours a really pale gold with a thick frothy head that was bubbly and settled to a lumpy cap. the eggshell white head produced some delicate lacing. the body is a slightly brackish oarnge that had very few bubbles rising up. the aromas are slightly malty and hoppy. there is also some citrus and pine in the nose. it is light bodied and has a watery mouthfeel and not so plesent hop taste. i love my hoppy beers, but something is weird with this one. has some grass in the taste, citrus, slight hops, and a week malt backbone. it finishes watery and the aftertaste is not that strong.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 15/20
Pours light amber with not so long-lasting white head; left white lace. No matter how long the beer sat, the bubbles kept rising, which was nice since it didn't go flat. Went down smooth and left a slight bitter aftertaste. Overall, not an amazing pale ale, but definitely drinkable and not at all unpleasant.

2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Nothing particularly special here. That is nothing particularly bad and nothing particularly good, other than the fluffy white head that stayed around for quite some time. A little more than lightly hopped.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
UPDATED: FEB 16, 2003 Re-rate- Clean and crisp, but with a full flavor. If you're a hop-head, this beer is a must. I've had inconsistent batches of this brew. Sometimes it is out of this world, and other times it has an unappealing winey after taste....
