Poleeko Pale Ale is an exceptionally flavorful and well-balanced beer. With a bright, citrus hop profile and mild malt flavors reminiscent of English biscuits, the aromas of pink grapefruit and lemon zest compliment the brisk, balanced finish to create a truly refined American Pale Ale.

MALTS: Pale Two-Row, Crystal (40L)
HOPS: Columbus, Nugget, Cascade

Note: Formerly Poleeko Gold Pale Ale.

Very pretty gold color with ample white head. A bit too light perhaps but quite drinkable with good balance and hops finish. Not the best APA but holds it's own IMO.

Appearance was hazy copper gold with diminishing creamy whiteish 1 finger head, lacing throughout. Aromas are wonderful sweet malts, minieral h2o, pine, grass, citrus fruits, spices, caramel. Andersonsí smells are unique. Taste are spicey lemony, grapefruit, piney, grassy, hay. Yeasts are floral fruity with a touch of sour.Malts are caramelly brown sugary with hints of choco. Palate was crispy smooth light co2 with light meduim body. An average length slightly caulky bite at the finish. If the finish was better...

Bottle, 355ml. Thanks for bringing this Albert Heijn. Pours hazy golden, more yelow. Frothy bubbly white head. Persistent. Biscuit & zest nose, very fine. Balanced aromaís of some light malt backbone, bread like. And citrussy hops, but no myrcene bombs. More piny, finish is long bitter. Almost too harsh for this type. Great choice on a summer day.

Bottle. Rating #200 -An Anderson rated by an Anderson. Raw orange gold, translicent, with a film-head. Smells vaguely citrus, very ripe, some malt-spice notes. Immediate impression is of dryness, crispness, hop and malt detectable, not sticky or even really sweet at all unlike many APAs Iíve had recently. Itís a refreshing change of pace even though I like a hint of sugar. This is as a result more notably bitter, but not in a bad way, more like a fresh unsweetened grapefruit. medium to light bodied and drinkable, this would be excellent on a hot summer day. Grapefruit finish. Not bad, although because these people are Andersons, I expected this to be the best beer ever. Oh well.
