This brew just slams you over the head with it’s heavy floral aroma. Tons of carbonation....couldn’t pour even a couple of ounces without overflowing a twelve ounce glass. The taste is a little sour on the front end, then sweet on the finish. Crisp and dry.....overall, very nice

Hazy yellow pour with a nose of some honey. Taste is mild bitter with a nice pale palate. Lingering bitterness on finish.

Bottle. Pours a golden body, with an average white head that diminishes fairly quickly, leaving a good lace. Faint hoppy aroma, really wanted more from this one. Taste was very refined though. Light to medium bitter, with notes of pine, very delicate, but not non-existant. LIght to medium body, average carbonation, watery texture. A nice APA.

Bottle: Hazy, golden, thick head and good lace. Honey malt nose. Lacks complexity. Malt dominates without much hop or yeast aroma. Dry, not sour and medium bitterness. Nice beer but very one dimensional..

I might have made a mistake by trying this after sampling the Belks ESB...but the hops still came through loud & clear when I first tasted it. Nice maltiness up front followed by a pronounced citrusy hoppiness. smooth palate with decent carbonation. Very nice beer.

Pours a yellow color with a small head. Nice aroma of grassy hops. Flavor was all hops! nice grassy, and bitter.. This is what I like in a pale ale..

Passable Pale Ale. Pours a slight bit "yellower’ than it’s IPA counterpart. Fizzy and relatively quickly fading head. General fruity and flowery scent. Tastes of apples and grapes with a slight hop aftertaste. Generally a pleasant malt balance, but not perfect. (Bottle Pour 11/30/2006)

Cloudy yellow body. White lasting head, good lacing. Aromas - floral, roses, honey, hint of malt. Creamy body, balanced. A little sourness in the finish.

UPDATED: DEC 2, 2007 Botled, consumed on 10/18/07. Pours a clear, pale gold. Head is white and made up of fine white bubbles. Fades rapidly to a ring around the edges and a thin skin on the center. Sweet citrus hops in the nose with a hint of malt and resin underneath. Thin but smooth, it slides into the mouth easily. Maltier than I expected, almost like a red or amber ale, with sweet honey notes. Astringent with mild bitterness as it goes down, the aftertaste lives on in a tingly patch in the center of the tongue. Very mild grapefruit hop note lingers as well. After beer warms, I would be fooled if someone handed me a glass of this and said it was Sierra Nevada Pale Ale. I might not buy another bottle, but it’s a fine drinking beer.

Smells like it would be sweet and bitter. Crisp and dry with a slight bitterness.
