COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Poleeko Pale Ale is an exceptionally flavorful and well-balanced beer. With a bright, citrus hop profile and mild malt flavors reminiscent of English biscuits, the aromas of pink grapefruit and lemon zest compliment the brisk, balanced finish to create a truly refined American Pale Ale.

MALTS: Pale Two-Row, Crystal (40L)
HOPS: Columbus, Nugget, Cascade

Note: Formerly Poleeko Gold Pale Ale.

On tap at Barley brothers in Winnipeg. A very light, but bright tasting beer. Refreshing and tasty.

Bottle. Rating #200 -An Anderson rated by an Anderson. Raw orange gold, translicent, with a film-head. Smells vaguely citrus, very ripe, some malt-spice notes. Immediate impression is of dryness, crispness, hop and malt detectable, not sticky or even really sweet at all unlike many APAs Iíve had recently. Itís a refreshing change of pace even though I like a hint of sugar. This is as a result more notably bitter, but not in a bad way, more like a fresh unsweetened grapefruit. medium to light bodied and drinkable, this would be excellent on a hot summer day. Grapefruit finish. Not bad, although because these people are Andersons, I expected this to be the best beer ever. Oh well.

Bottle, 355ml. Thanks for bringing this Albert Heijn. Pours hazy golden, more yelow. Frothy bubbly white head. Persistent. Biscuit & zest nose, very fine. Balanced aromaís of some light malt backbone, bread like. And citrussy hops, but no myrcene bombs. More piny, finish is long bitter. Almost too harsh for this type. Great choice on a summer day.

Pours hazy orange with a thick cottony, creamy white head. Fruity, hoppy aroma. Well balanced, fruity, hoppy flavour with some flowery notes.

aleigator (735) - GERMANY - APR 25, 2014
Sunny yellow color, big white head. Pine, malt, grass, wood. Oily, piny hops, along with sweeter malts, no bitterness, no real aftertaste. Beer gets unusually sweet in the end for an IPA. Carbonation is low, smooth mouthfeel, but the beer is rather boring. Slightly bitter touch at the very end for a moment.

Caramel malt aroma, with a little citrus. Same caramel malt flavor; but not as dominant, with some bread crust malt. Citrus hop flavor; more than in the aroma, but secondary to the malt.

Bitter burst of citrus and honey initially, then settling to an utterly forgettable McPaleAle.
