Farm fresh grassy and pine aroma. Clear light golden in color. Crispy, leafy hop flavor - very tangy and citric. Lingers nicely. Light in body and tingly on the tongue. This beer is a pale ale winner.

I love the golden color, the pure white foamy head, the light hop scent, the fruity malt profile. It’s light enough to serve as a refreshing summer session beer. Bit overpriced though for what it is.

This is a great, if simple, beer. Actually, it is deceivingly simple and is not what most drinkers would normally expect in the more amber american pale ales produced these days. This beer is brilliantly clear and gold in color with a big white head. It has a wonderful hop aroma with hints of malt coming through. It has a nearly perfect palate for what it is trying to support -- a smooth, mellow maltiness with a punch of hops thrown in there as well. Nothing overwhelms anything else in this beer. Crisp, light, dry, refreshing.

Poured from a 12 ounce bottle into a pint glass.
Appearance: Pours a hazy light golden amber with a foamy 2-3 finger white head. Nice head retention. Excellent lacing.
Smell: Caramel malt and sweet floral hops.
Taste: Much like the aroma, caramel malt is dominant up front followed by sweet citrus in the middle and bitter lemon zest and grapefruit at the finish. Aftertaste is mildly bitter.
Mouthfeel: Light-to-medium bodied with a good amount of carbonation.
Drinkability: Excellent drinkability. You could knock back several of these with no problem. Perfect summer beer.
Overall: Very solid pale ale. I thoroughly enjoyed this. The unique balance of hops and malt make this a great beer. Highly recommend trying this one.

pours a golden yellow with a fine white frothy head. Active carbonation makes it bubbly. The malt is balanced nicely with a strong hoppy finish that is not overly bitter. Clean and refreshing.

The dryness and crispness of this beer is surprising and pleasant. The golden color and white head add to the overall package. Yeasty flavor, grass and a bit of earthiness make this a great summer beer.

This brew just slams you over the head with it’s heavy floral aroma. Tons of carbonation....couldn’t pour even a couple of ounces without overflowing a twelve ounce glass. The taste is a little sour on the front end, then sweet on the finish. Crisp and dry.....overall, very nice

Bottle, at the GBBF 2008. Golden colour, moderate head. Very nice hoppy aroma, notes of citrus and tropical fruits. Pleasant hoppy flavour but not overdone, well balanced.
