GreatLibations (1299), Sasquatcho, Arizona, USA Sep 26, 2008 Pours with a solid head that linger with color of hazed gold. Good aroma. This is a decent PA with a good malt backbone and hop profile. Decent. nearbeer (1332), Knoxville, Tennessee, USA Sep 23, 2008 12 oz. Amber with a half-inch creamy head that lasts and leaves crunchy lacing. Orange aspirin and slight plastic aromas. Flavor is a nice mix of orange, tea leaf, toasted nut, resin coated wood and slight cocoa. Light-medium body is smooth and has a dry finish. Lubiere (3324), Ottawa, Ontario, Canada Sep 7, 2008 A hazy golden ale with a thin white head. A pleasant floral hops, herbal and smooth, with light caramel. In mouth, a fresh malt with crisp hops, chalky notes. Medium bodied. Refreshing beer. Tasted April 2007. Mes_and_Sim (4482), Highgate, Greater London, England Aug 24, 2008 A Mes rate: bottle at GBBF. Bright gold with a good white head. Fruity hop aroma with some grain in the background and a slight sour edge to it. Similar flavour. Slightly chalky but the fruit notes are really good. Lovely and dry. Decent stuff. harrisoni (5359), Ashford, Kent, England Aug 22, 2008 Bottle from GBBF 08. Deep gold, lasting off white head. Attractive light grapefruit hop aroma. Very faint cheddar cheese. Drinkable in the mouth, a little hard on the swallow. Decent malts. Some toffee, bit of butter. Finish has some floral PNW hops, but not overly bitter. Maybe a little too buttery. Hops are nice. Yep, fine.
