RunDWP (95), San Jose, California, USA Apr 14, 2008 Slight floral and pine aroma, and pours a slightly hazy orange with a full, long laster white head. They decided not to hit you over the head with hops, with the flavor being a strong piney and little grapefruit in the background. Actually goes down reasonable smoothly for all that going on. some people might find the taste muted, but I prefer to say it’s well balanced. Worked for me.
cbeers21 (344), Miami, Florida, USA Jul 1, 2008 Nice well balanced brew with an assertive, but well balanced hop character, clean finish and high drinkability. alexsdad06 (532), Ohio, USA Jun 9, 2008 12 oz. bottle. Pours a slightly hazy golden amber color with a medium sized white head. The aroma is grassy with lighter citrus and lighter bready malts. The flavor is much like the nose, lighter bready malts with citrus and grass. This one is very average. Thin. matt7215 (481), Cambridge, Ontario, Canada May 25, 2008 12 oz bottle from a trade with douglas88. pours light orange with a small white head and little carbonation. small amount of hops in the nose with some pale malts. flavours are similar but this one lack umph. just turn it up a bit and this would be a lot better but as is its just a standard pale ale for the masses. sneagrams3 (1314), St. Louis, Missouri, USA May 23, 2008 Tasted 5/13/08. 12oz bottle. Filtered with a honey amber hue. White layer of clinging head. Grassy citrus bright fresh hop aroma. Grapefruit and circus peanuts. Hop dominant nose. Light to medium bodied. Mild hops with caramel flavor. Light roasty note. Hop dominant palate. Grassy citrus hop flavor. Pleasantly sticky. Solid bitterness. haggis03a3 (89), Piedmont, California, USA May 21, 2008 Hazy golden color and good white head. Aroma of caramel, biscuit malt, apples and citrus hops. Mild flavor, but a good balance of malt and crisp hops. Light palate with a dry finish. Very drinkable but not as boring as its lightness would suggest.
